## Sky: Children of the Light Description
Three hearts, one infinite canvas, together we illuminate a starry night.

Dear Van Gogh is an interactive journey through the life, art, and inner world of Vincent van Gogh. Travel inside his paintings to witness his earliest uncertainties, his Paris awakening, and the fragile beauty of his final years. Discover and feel the weight of a life lived, and the invisible hands that held it together.

From the award-winning creators of Journey, join a global community and play through an unforgettable experience of empathy, connection, and art.

A Story Most People Have Never Heard
Everyone knows the legend of Van Gogh. Few know the full story.

At the heart of Van Gogh’s life was a decades-long exchange of letters with his brother, Theo, filled with doubt, wonder, and unfailing devotion that made Van Gogh’s art possible in the first place. Now you can discover that bond firsthand. Guided by Johanna, Theo’s wife and the quiet force who carried Vincent’s legacy forward, you will piece together the story behind the paintings and discover that what we call genius was also, and always, an act of love.

Dear Van Gogh is their story, as much as his.

Art You Can Walk Through
Explore beautiful, playable environments made from Van Gogh's best known paintings, from sunlit fields in the Netherlands to the glowing night skies that only he could imagine. Each and every landscape is a work of art in motion, rendered in his bold, expressive brushstroke style and alive with the emotion he poured into every canvas.

Paint the World with Others
Just as Van Gogh was never truly alone in his creative journey, neither are you. Use Sky’s signature brushstroke mechanic to collaborate with other players, bringing color and light back to the world together. Because some things are simply more beautiful when shared.

Return to the Real World, Evolved
At the end of the experience, pause and look back at what you experienced. You’re welcome to reflect on and share what you observed and what moved you. Dear Van Gogh in Sky is more than just a game, it is an invitation to see one of history’s greatest artists in a new light, and question everything you thought you knew about the story behind the art.

## Sky: Children of the Light Reviews in United States

### ***** "La lolipop"
Plz make these oufits lower cadles plzz the game is greart tho
-- honeyxkitty, 2025-08-31

### *---- "Don’t pay, or better yet don’t play"
I really don’t recommend paying for any of the cosmetics or passes. It will only make it harder for you to leave when you realize how manipulative and scummy this game is. Season passes feel like you are paying 10$ to play the game for 3 months, the quests are boring and repetitive, and you have to do them for 75 days or more if you want to get enough season candles for everything. Please not that the you also can’t get all the free items in a season anymore if you don’t pay for the pass…

the items look pretty but cosmetics in a temporary game like this should never be worth more than 5$, let alone the 15-25 they ask you for their stand alone cosmetics.

As others have pointed out, the prices with in-game currency are also insane, and have been getting worse and worse for years now. If you want 20 candles(the limited amount you can collect each day) you have to go through and collect as much wax as possible on three realms and this takes like 2-3 hours of just running around as fast as possible. Through the same realms. Every. Single. Day. And the prices usually range from 45 candles to 200…

Of course you could also just spend 5$ on 15 candles :/ the prices for each candle pack are not worth it at all.

The devs won’t listen to feedback either, saying that lowering the prices negatively effects “the economy”. There is no in game player trading, they just want more money in their wallet.

### ***** "AMAZINGGG"
I can't stop playing. This game is just amazing, it SO relaxing. I have been like playing it for like 6 hours a day, it’s that good. If you see the add for this game you
have got to INSTALL ITTTT!! Also whoever invented this is a GENIUS.
-- The_tux_lover, 2025-08-30

### ***** "AMAZING and want you to download NOWWW! but….. one problem"
I absolutely love this game! You can meet people and chat with them!! And more! One problem is the paid items such as the capes and masks for events or the season passes is extremely expensive!! I choose not to use my money on them and choose to beg my friends to buy me stuff haha. Like for an example, I really want to deer antlers since I was a moff. I’ve been playing for maybe more than 2 years and I still don’t have it!! :< Maybe there’s a chance to make stuff cheaper? —ThatSkyPlum

### ***** "My fav"

-- June 27 2025, 2025-08-30

### ***** "Dear people who read this!!!"
This is a good game, no ads, fun events, avatar customization (once claimed candles and hearts along with the advanced candles. You could also buy them too)

If you look at a-lot of the most critical reviews, there just hatting on the game. But please don’t take it seriously.

DEAR GAME DEVS!!!
Thank you for the game and enjoyment!! Plus the lore is sad but I love it!!❤️❤️❤️

### ***** "I love this game i recommend this!❤️❤️❤️"
So i downloaded this game when i was 5 or 6 years old and i still play this wonderful game today but except im older in 7th grade D: So short story about this game when i was 6 i deleted this game to get a new account because i thought it was funny to be wingless and bald and i some how go 100 winged light in the end but also the game was in beta back then so i couldn’t pick up some of the candle wax if i played for a long time. Now this gamed changed a lot their used to be just the little spawn area instead of that village :3 I really love this game you do a lot of stuff and i like to lose my light and joke around with people ( im just weird like that)
:3 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ dont remove rainforest i love that place so much i hang out there and get trapped in a hole🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 on the 3rd part!
