Despite having a fast and reliable internet connection with speeds around 1GB and using a brand new apple iPad Air device this app simply cannot connect to the sky box, I end up constantly trying to search for the connection and turning WiFi or devices off and on again. On the rare occasion that it does connect it often then disconnects at random in the middle of the programme. Useless!

If you want to use this app connected to a TV in any way (eg via a games console or Apple TV) then you have to pay for an extra Sky multi room subscription. The Mac app is still an Intel-only app and is the only app I use that makes my MacBook heat up. Sky don’t care about their customers or the quality of their apps, you are just a meat bag with a credit card.

It’s been months since Vision Pro was released. And yet the iPad app (I’m not even asking for a native app) still hasn’t been enabled for this device. I pay good money to Sky and should be able to watch wherever I want. iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV are allowed but no Vision Pro? This is a deliberate decision by Sky with no obvious reason. Made all the worse because Now TV is on Vision Pro - but Sky subscriptions don’t work in Now TV. If it is made available, I’ll reconsider my rating.

The error is “Because of a technical issue you cannot watch this content.” The support team produces AI generated responses (we spent days in a back and forth, provided information, were told to restart and redownload (this did not work) and then received an email that responded to another persons query. Many emails were also identical and of no relevance.) In sum, after 3 weeks, this has not been resolved and renders the app unusable. This is incredibly disappointing as prior to this point it worked well.

What’s the point of a mobile app if you can’t use it when you’re on the go?  I downloaded a series to binge watch whilst I was travelling and the app continuously hung up.  When it eventually did start working it all of a sudden stopped 18 minutes into the programme.
I subscribe to other streaming services (Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime), and they all allow download and on the go viewing.  Get it fixed Sky!
