Sky Go – Companion App

Worst streaming app in NZ by far. The comments from Sky just gaslight customers into thinking it’s an individual problem when it’s just a bad app. The fact it hasn’t been updated in a year says a lot. ‘Live’ sport isn’t live, it lags or buffers and is just painful.

When watching sport live, the app will buffer - even in the ads. We have multiple streaming services and none provide such inadequate quality - it is the app or the servers that can’t handle streamers. GET. IT. TOGETHER. Just because you’ve got a monopoly on coverage doesn’t mean you get to provide a terrible quality service. Very disappointing in 2024. I can’t wait to get rid of Sky.

Cuts out constantly! This app needs serious fixing

Why is this app still existent, buffers every 20 seconds. The worst app to watch any sport on. Trash.

Worst app ever ive delete and downloaded it probably 50 times it constantly glitches or gets frozen it rediculous. For such a big company how can you create such a useless app

Just a horrible app to use, can never watch anything with out it lagging or just super glitchy like come on guys sort it out, Maybe you should take the time to remove the app and just start over and make one that can actually keep up and stream things without lagging or anything

Streaming sports lags every ten seconds. Not enjoyable for a subscriber paying good money. Sort it out sky.

It’s mean it’s my favourite horror

That this is the app form of our foremost paid broadcasting company makes it all the more disappointing my family has paid tens of thousands to this company over the years. No updates in seven months!!! It’s laughable. The bugs, crashing, random rewinds, that the subtitles can’t be turned off and covers the scoreboards of most sporting events…. What a joke to be quite honest.
