No review can explain how good this app is. Just try the free version for a while and see if you’re not amazed.

Not orientating properly

xxogf on

South Africa

Even with location on and compass on, the app doesn’t find the correct compass point and therefore doesn’t show the correct night sky. Contacted the App developers and got no reply.

Widget

These are my app reviews on

The old widget was great. I really miss it. The new one looks strange and has very little information.

Brilliant! But…

I love Sky Guide, I find it really useful to be able to point at stars and use Siri and Shortcuts to find out what I am looking at. It’s educational and fun. But Sky Guide is still using the old widget, when will the iOS 15 widget come?

Really good. Slick. Non-subscription version a bit restrictive

Best slickest sky viewing app. Great for identifying object & things etc.

A jewel

I want to learn more about the night sky and the names of stars and the constalations built around their positions. Your app helps towards that, thank you. Do you think it is possible to build a slider in to dim between constellation images, lines and stars-only in AR-mode? That way the app will assist in learning to identify the constallation and important associated stars. Thank you for opening the skies to many of us.
