That’s more than I pay for my Netflix!

Really useful app for anyone who wants to keep up with defence and security news without having to trawl through multiple sources. The coverage is sharp, the analysis is genuinely insightful, and it's become part of my daily routine. Highly recommend.

I really like what the app offers. Great coverage and a wealth of information. But what consumer testing they did to come up with the price of £14.99 a month I’ll never know! 

Far too expensive, when the free trial ends, I’ll be deleting. Shame.

Just seen this app advertised on tv, thought it would be a great app until i was the cost. Charging that sort of money just for an app of what ifs and news is ridiculous

This doesn’t really offer anything that isn’t available in other places, such as YouTube or on podcasts. 

It’s also video-only, with no option to just play as audio, podcast-style, and no option that I could see to download. 

The UX is also not good at all, just one infinite wall of videos (I say infinite, Sky’s back catalogue of analysis and interviews far exceeds what’s available in the app), no filtering, no timeline features, etc. 

As a video-only app this would be better suited to smart TVs and Apple TV, Fire TV, etc. 

It’s only saving grace is that it’s free for 3 months, but that low, low price isn’t enough for me to keep it installed, and I certainly wouldn’t lay £15 a month for it. 

No idea who in the product team helped up figure out the price they’re planning to charge for this, but they shouldn’t be in the job. Compare the pricing of this to say, the Conflicted Podcast, The Rest is Politics, and you could sub to 3 or 4 great podcasts for around the same price, and getter better quality insights. 

You’ve then get the free, ad-supported pods like the Times’ General and the Journalist, and the Telegraph’s Ukraine: The Latest, and Iran: The Latest, which are both free, and have no ads. 

All told, swing and a miss Sky.

For me to pay a premium £14.99 a month, it’s criminal that I don’t have the option to download this app and view it on my Apple TV, particularly videos (which appear to be formatted only for mobiles). Huge fan of Prof. Michael Clarke, and I want the option of kicking back in the evening and scrolling/watching this content on the big screen.
