USAGE NOTES:

• SEARCHING for Courses: When searching for courses by name, you can just search for "Aug" instead of "Augusta National Golf Course" (leave out the quote marks).

• SEARCHING for Courses: Radar button will find Mapped courses within 25mi/40km of your current location.

• To save battery power, click your power button to turn off the screen when not in use.

• Set your GPS Keep Alive in the SkyDroid settings to control how long GPS stays active when SkyDroid is in the background. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

• GPS accuracy can vary over time (click the GPS signal strength icon at any time to see your accuracy).

• Before playing a course preview its mapping by clicking the link for the course name at www.skydroid.net/courses.php (best done using a large screen). Let us know of any mapping issues, or make changes yourself.

• If we don’t have your course, you can add it as long as there is a satellite image of the course available in Course Mapper.

• Change distance measurement (yards/meters) in the app Settings available on the in-app Menu.

• While playing golf you will only incur data usage while using the Satellite View screen. Course downloads can be done at home over Wi-Fi and are small in size.

Satellite map not working

Google maps selected. Zoom presents blank map.

Keeps bugging off

App has never worked. Bugs out as soon as I try to get an overview of a hole. Don’t waste your money.

Stopped downloading courses

I loved this app on android. Very disappointed with iOS version. Search function has stopped working. Just getting jibberish. Need to find something better.

Not finding courses

The app is great but recently it wont bring up new courses for us to download

Works great

Works very well on ever course ive played....Always testing against other gps and range finders that other players have, and its accurate.

Disappointed

Had same app on a droid phone. Recently purchased an iPhone and this version does not not allow you to keep your score like the droid app. GPS works great so that’s a plus but the lack of a score card is an epic fail.

Great App

SkyDroid is the only app I use on the golf course. It gives me an approximate distance to the green for my approach shots without having to fiddle with it. HOWEVER!!! Now for some reason when I click on the app it boots up and disappears. Please help. I don’t want to use another complicated app.

Not enough information on my iPhone no score card plus

Great for yardage

Was recommended this app by an Android user. More accurate than my other friends’ apps but theirs keeps track of score, fairways hit, and putts. The android version of this app allows you to do this as well. 3 stars for not being the same as android. Would be 5 stars if I could keep track of my score/putts.

iPhone X

The Old Mill golf course in Salt Lake County Utah, change the front nine to the back nine and vice versa a year and a half ago. I’ve deleted this app and then re-downloaded it several times and it never switches these to the way they should be currently. I just kind of wondered if the developers of this app are kind of lazy.
