## Slay Description
Slay is a simple to learn game of strategy and cunning set in medieval times. The island is divided up between the six players, and you must try to capture your enemies' land and link up your own territories to create larger and stronger ones. You begin capturing land by attacking with your peasants. Once your territories become richer you can combine peasants to make stronger and stronger people (Spearmen, Knights and then Barons) who can kill weaker enemy troops, or knock down their castles. Just be careful that you don't create too many expensive men or the territory will go bankrupt!

I love strategy games and I’ve never not had this on my phone, played for as long as I can remember. It’s the perfect example of a strategy game that is easy to learn and hard to master. Still challenging after thousands of games. I can’t think of any other game on any device that passes the time like Slay.

### ***** "Civ Polytopia battle turn based strategy"
Beautifully balanced.  Seemingly simple, but with layer upon layer of depth of strategy.  If you love CivRev, Civilization, polytopia and off line turn based strategy, this one was well worth the £5 I paid for it.

If you don’t like turn based strategy games, this might make you like them!

I’ve played this game a lot over the last couple of years, it’s the perfect game for taking a break from work for 10 minutes. The one thing that gets in the way of it being perfect is that the touch immediately scrolls, so if you are trying to place a man, half the time because there was very slight movement when touching the screen it scrolls instead of placing. If it had a small delay before scrolling to give placing priority it would be perfect. I try really hard to make quick touches, but it’s impossible, at least on this iPad Pro. I’m sure it wouldn’t be a hard thing to sort out?

I’ve been playing slay since Windows 95 and it still stands up so well today. The graphics aren’t exactly modern, but does that really matter?

The fact the game is still getting updated and supported to this day is incredible!

I only play two games on my iPhone: Slay and Firefight. Both written by Sean. I've been playing Slay since the late 90's and it is simple to pick up but compelling so I have to ration my use or a morning can disappear.

Another Sean O’Connor game I keep on coming back to. It’s nice to see a simple, yet engaging and thought provoking strategy game that isn’t just a risk clone. Also no coins, gems or play to win! Just one reasonable price I paid years ago and still keep on getting value from.

I love this game and it's easily one of my most played apps.  However the latest update has ruined the visuals for me. The board looks completely flat and the hexagons look squished. Please bring back the option for the old style of graphics!

Having played this as a child on Windows, I’m really enjoying this iOS version. I’ve played over 150 games so far and can’t see an end in sight.

I’d give it 5 stars, but the recent visual update has lessened the experience for me. It would be good if the change could be reversed or for an option to use the old visuals.

Love the game used to play it on the pc years ago was very happy to see this as a app. I play the game all the time it's easily my most played app as you can play it anywhere! I highly recommend this game it's great fun and never gets old.

Finished all the maps so I've looked at buying the map pack! Bit steep in price is it likely the price will go down? It's more than double the original price I payed for the game!
