Disappointed with update

I’ve been using Sleep Cycle to monitor my sleep for several years, and it has mostly been useful, though it doesn’t always register the time I’m lying in bed awake. However, it’s recently added a feature I find EXTREMELY annoying, that is, overly cutesy “insights” like today’s “Your sleep efficiency is around and about” and a few days ago it included the dumb phrase “You do you.” I don’t need an app that sounds like it’s some TV exercise trainer. Just give me the data. Can I turn off these alleged insights?

Horrible UI

So like any normal person when I set my alarm using this app by pressing the “start” button I assumed my alarm would be set and ready to go off the next morning. Nope. For some reason who ever made this app thought it would be a good idea to put all the “reminder” pop-ups after you press the alarm set button, you know, the time 99% of people just turn their phone over and go to sleep. Your alarm won’t go off until you acknowledge these reminders which caused me to miss an important meeting.

I wake up feeling refreshed

Used this many years ago, and I stopped due to not needing it anymore. I'm delighted to find that when I came back, the UI is easier to use and more aesthetic. I only use the basic functions, and those functions really work well for me. It's amazing to wake up gently as opposed to waking up startled, panicking, or exhausted. I really do wake up refreshed, even though sometimes I get less hours of sleep

there used to be no subscription fee

i bought this app a while back and i was able to use every feature after i bought it. it was the most expensive app i have ever bought. now theyre trying to charge me a subscription fee on top of that. get outta here

It’s nice when it works.

This alarm clock is not reliable some times it makes noise when it goes off sometimes it just goes off silently. I’m so sick of things not working!!

Too aggressive with the upsells. Deleted.

I happily used this app for years as a purchaser very early in its existence, but the past year or so the non stop onslaught of upgrade prompts has made it unbearable. I’m done. Unless you plan on paying for the subscription, plan on seeing nearly daily upsells.

No refunds

No Refunds I’ve tried to get my money back for this app, but they refuse to issue any refunds. It’s incredibly frustrating to feel cheated out of my hard-earned money for an app that doesn’t deliver on its promises. Avoid this app at all costs!

NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY

Look folks, those 5 star reviews are either fake, paid for, or from people who haven’t been using the app long enough to see how unreliable it is. It has a nasty habit of not going off at the scheduled time. This has happened to me at least eight times so I now use the phones built in system as a back up. If I have to do that, how is this app worth my money? It’s not, and it isn’t worth yours either.

Best alarm ever, useless for anything else

Use it for an alarm. It's awesome. Don't bother with everything else. It's just smoke and mirrors. A one day increase or decrease of an hour in my sleep is not a "trend". Also I don't care how much people snore every night in Turkey or wherever versus where I live.
