How many times have you tried to capture artful images with your iPhone camera but were left wishing you had more features to work with? Slow Shutter Cam puts an end to mere snapshots and gives you some of the most powerful features of a DSLR camera. All this, in a package that fits in your pocket.

Slow Shutter Cam offers three capture modes to capture unique images:

MOTION BLUR: Equivalent to the shutter priority mode on a DSLR, the Motion Blur mode is perfect for creating ghost images, waterfall effects or suggesting movement in your photographs by adding a blur.
LIGHT TRAIL: The Light Trail mode allows you to 'paint' with light, show car light trails and fireworks or capture any other moving light in a unique way. Unlike shooting with a DSLR and being tied to specific rigid settings to obtain good results, the Light Trail mode takes care of the essentials, letting your creativity soar!
LOW LIGHT: In low light conditions, this capture mode allows the camera to accumulate every photon of light hitting the sensor. The longer the shutter speed, the more light it will accumulate. You can even fine-tune the result using the exposure compensation slider to achieve the exact effect you want!
Highlights:
• Unlimited Shutter Speed and manual ISO
• Option to resume capture and create multiple exposure photos
• Real time live preview - See the result in real time
• Innovative 'Freeze' and ‘Blur Strength’ controls
• Tap to adjust focus/exposure
• Time-lapse Intervalometer
• Apple Watch support and handy Self-Timer
• Full resolution support on every devices
• Camera Control support (iPhone 16)
With Slow Shutter Cam on your iPhone you get the features of a DSLR camera with the convenience of a device that you can drop in your pocket and take with you wherever you go. Download it now and put an end to mere snapshots!

Slow Shutter Cam Reviews

Creativity at its best

Glefoe on

Has a lot to offer so worth reading the instructions. Love the resultant impressionistic images. My go to app for creative images.

No video just photo cope out

Wonderful App

Kivivalu on

Australia

For people looking to create light trails and to investigate intentional camera movement, this app is a blast. Powerful set of controls. Great fun with a serious side too

Not for astrophotography

Koputai on

Australia

If you want to take pictures of the stars, don’t bother with this app. There is no mode, or any settings that will enable you to take even basic pictures of the night sky.

Great like to see higher resolution

Any change to update the megapixel for modern iPhones? 12 mpx is low with the 14 and 15s

Pass.

News-hungry on

Pass - not in a good way. Light metering is hopeless and results are useless. Waste of money - but you can’t try before you buy can you so the developer still gets my money. Boo.

Photos are all blury

IronChefDown Under on

Every photo I take with it of waterfalls ends up out of focus or blury. Spectre app is much better than this app.

Suggestion

I just learned of this app through ‘iPhone photography school” on YouTube and love it. However, I would love the ability to include the Apple Watch ‘app’ in my complications to get easy access. I can click on the app and it’s fine, but would be so much better if I could go directly to it from my watch face.

Can’t Rate

iPhone 11 Pro Max - The app is something unmentionable, definitely not what I expected. Won’t switch between.5x and 2x. The images it produces in these cameras looks like I have my finge over the lenses. As for the 1x images, they are either so far blown out, blurry or noisy. I’ll stick with the stock app. Update- the app now takes photos that resemble black and whites from the early 1900’s. it’s a improvement because I can see something other than a blur of nothing.

Fabulously easy
