## Smart Alarm Clock Description
Alarmer is an app that will become your assistant to wake up easily and fast. It's very difficult to oversleep using exciting tasks to stop the alarm clock. Wake up every morning with the Alarmer - the smartest alarm clock.

HOW IT WORKS:

At first, select the time of waking up. Then select a ringtone to start your day with nice sounds or your own music. Also, there is an ability to add one or multiple tasks and in the morning be ready to complete them to stop the alarm. They are barcode scanning, face recognition, solving a math problem, word rewriting, and shaking the phone. If you just close the application in the morning, the alarm clock will start sending notifications, reminding you to complete the tasks.

MAIN FEATURES:

- Set unlimited alarms
- Set alarm ringtone. You can use the app's default nice ringtone or select your own one from the iTunes Library
- Pick one or multiple tasks to prevent oversleeping
- Ability to select days of the week for repeating alarms
- Ability to enable/disable vibration
- Ability to change the volume level
- Ability to enable/disable fade-in of the ringtone
- Ability to snooze the alarm, select the snooze duration and disable this option
- Take photos. You can save a photo of your face after successful face recognition. Saved photos are stored in the app's Photos Library (Settings > Photos Library). There you can view, share or delete them
- Set a suitable color theme

LIST OF TASKS:

- Face recognition. You should show your face in front of a camera and smile.
- Barcode scanning. It supports all types of barcodes, so you can scan any of them using the rear camera. There is an option to scan any of the barcodes or some specific.
- Solving a math problem. Choose the correct answer out of the proposed options. Also, you can select the difficulty level: easy, medium, or hard.
- Word Rewriting. Repeat randomly generated word without any mistakes.
- Shake your phone several times.

Many features in the app are free, but you will need a subscription to access all the features of this app. You can choose the subscription plan that suits you best:
- Monthly subscription (with 7-day free trial)
- Annual subscription (with 7-day free trial)

Please note:
- The subscription is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase;
- If you start a free trial, it will be automatically upgraded to a paid subscription unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period;
- You can cancel your subscription or free trial at any time by turning off auto-renewal in your iTunes account settings. This must be done 24 hours before the end of the free trial or subscription period to avoid being charged. Cancellation will take effect the day after the last day of the current subscription period, and you will be downgraded to the free version;
- Any unused portion of the free trial period (if offered) is lost when purchasing a paid subscription during the free trial period.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

For complete ability to use all features and set alarms, you will need to allow access to the following:
- Notifications – to receive notifications when the app in background mode. 
- Media Library  – to set your own music as an alarm sound.
- Camera - to use Face Recognition & Barcode Scanning tasks, i.e, recognize your face, and scan any barcode.
- Photo Library - to save your photos.

If you’re looking at installing this, I’ll give you a basic rundown. It’s what a person like me needs. I always used to struggle with getting up in the morning and now with this I don’t basically everybody uses the basic alarms app that comes on their phone, which we all know you’re just gonna snooze through which is why this app has you doing math problems, facial recognition, barcode, scanning, etc. which will get you out of bed and doing the tasks you need to do. thank you for your time.

This is the first app that I’ve seen that will not alert you if you close the app. It will not alarm when it’s name is literally “Alarm”. To save my battery I close all unused apps. I use this alarm only on Sundays, so why would I keep it open? Upon closing this app, it notifies me that I will not receive an alarm for the set times, only a notification which defeats the purpose. This is not a good app.

Everything looks good and works great so far! It’s free and allows you to add you own music as the alarm. Works in locked screen and good mode to make sure you are awake. Good addition!!!

### **--- "Alarm fails to sound sometimes"
I can’t rely on the app because the alarm sometimes fails to sound.
I wake up late and see the alarm is triggered and my phone is vibrating, but it isn’t making sound.
When this happens, sometimes the sound will start to play once I begin unlocking the phone and I think I’ve also sometimes had to flip Silent Mode Off. (Note that the alarm is supposed to [and usually does] sound when Silent Mode is On).
I thought maybe this issue might be related to the app somehow being in the background and closed by iOS. So I’ve tried to have the app be in the foreground when I lock my phone and go to sleep. But that doesn’t seem to workaround the issue.
Please let me know if there’s a solution for this.
I like the app aside from this unreliability.

I used this app for a few weeks. It helps to hand the tasks to get your morning fog to dissipate. However the app needs to stay open in order to  work and it’s not considered “in the background “ - so it drains your battery. I thought there was something wrong with my iPhone. Got a new phone and still had issues. Finally determined it was this app.

I had wrote a review a few months ago to suggest an option to prevent users from skipping tasks, as well as setting an alarm for more than one day of the week. I am so glad that the developers really listened and improved the app because now it’s really helping me stay awake! Awesome job, 5/5. :)

*Also, a tip for using the “barcode” task to stop an alarm: make sure it’s a barcode that you will ALWAYS have (not one on a disposable item). I made the mistake of choosing a water gallon barcode and forgot to change it once I threw away the gallon. It was a struggle trying to disable the alarm without having the barcode to scan and I had to quickly close and reopen the app several times to delete the alarm before it rang. On the bright side, at least it really commits to making you complete the task and it did keep me from going back to sleep, lol.
