A different kind of comic reader that offers a better way to read comics on a smaller screen.

How it works:
1. Import any comic into the app.
2. Double tap on a panel and watch the app automatically detect its boundaries and zoom in on it.
3. Tap on the side of the screen to easily move to the next panel. If needed, the app will rotate the comic to make maximum use of your screen space.

Love the panel detection but please let me organise the reading order!

Seems like a very well made app otherwise!

The best

The panel by panel mode makes smart phone reading possible and the iCloud syncing is super simple. I like to switch between my phone when I’m out and my iPad while I’m home. For me this is the perfect app

Outstanding!

I’m amazed and grateful to the developers that this app is free. Thank you! I was an avid user of Comic Zeal but it’s become antiquated, so I went hunting for a replacement. Smart Comic fit the bill in almost every way. I say “almost” because what would make this a 5-star app is if they enabled connectivity to other cloud storage services like Google Drive, either directly or via the Apple Files app. That would make it the perfect solution because Smart Comic’s functionality is near perfect in every other way, and would mean not having to increase the size of my iCloud plan, which is expensive in comparison to other cloud storage solutions.

Incredible app

Gorgeous, intelligent app. The guided view-like function is a joy to use. I’ve personally been reading on my iPhone and it works a treat! Many other iOS apps appear to have sold out and become money grubbers or forced rubbish updates onto users. I’ll happily support this app and it’s developers.

Very good so far

Can you please add folders within folders like I want folders for my dc and marvel but then in dc folder have a sub folder containing all my Batman comics and then another sub folder with all superman and so on. Only thing I can think of to make the app better, Thanks.

Just started using this app for DRM free comics. All free with all the functionality you need. So far, so good.

Perfect way to read comics on a phone

I tried a bunch of comic readers apps on my iPhone and this one is absolutely the best. I love that when I choose to rotate my phone, the app stays focused on the panel I was reading.
