ในปี พ.ศ. 2559 องค์การบริหารการพัฒนาพื้นที่พิเศษเพื่อการท่องเที่ยวอย่างยั่งยืน หรือ อพท. ได้ใช้ Mobile Application เป็นเครื่องมือเผยแพร่ข้อมูลการท่องเที่ยวและองค์ความรู้ด้านการท่องเที่ยว อย่างยั่งยืนสู่สาธารณะ ซึ่งการเผยแพร่ข้อมูลด้านการท่องเที่ยวและองค์ความรู้ด้านการท่องเที่ยวอย่างยั่งยืน ผ่านระบบ Mobile Application นับเป็นอีกช่องทางที่สามารถสื่อสารไปยังสาธารณะได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ และส่งผลให้เกิดการรับรู้ได้อย่างรวดเร็ว และจะสามารถตอบโจทย์และสนับสนุนการทำงานของ อพท. ในการ สื่อสารเชิงกลยุทธ์ (Strategic Communication) ที่ทันต่อกระแสยุคดิจิทัล ในการเข้าถึงกลุ่มนักท่องเที่ยวและ ผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสียด้านการท่องเที่ยว ได้อย่างรวดเร็วและตรงถึงกลุ่มเป้าหมายที่ต้องการได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ รวมทั้งช่วยส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวภายในพื้นที่พิเศษของ อพท. เพื่อเกิดการกระจายรายได้สู่ชุมชนการพัฒนาทั้งในด้านกายภาพและคุณภาพชีวิตของประชาชนด้วยการท่องเที่ยวอย่างยั่งยืน เพื่อให้บรรลุเป้าหมายสูงสุดใน การใช้การท่องเที่ยวเป็นเครื่องมือสำคัญเพื่อลดความเหลื่อมล้ำของสังคมไทย ตามแนวทางยุทธศาสตร์ชาติ 20 ปี (พ.ศ. 2561 – 2580) ของรัฐบาล
