It gives all compatible espresso machines capabilities, which were only seen in the most advanced, state-of-the-art devices. Imagine perfectly repeatable pressure- and flow profiling with a modified vintage lever machine, or a modern pump machine, with instant feedback. Now you can log even your Decent Espresso shots on machines equipped with the Group Head Control. Decide whether you go with pressure, or with flow profiling - with the Smart Espresso Profiler, everything is possible. The Smart Espresso Profiler displays and records in real-time the pressure and flow of the coffee extraction, translating this information into pressure and flow graphs. It even informs you about the key indicators (brew ratio, flow rate, etc.) during the brewing process. Record all your experiences with the tasting notes feature, included in the app. Save and share profiles and notes of your favorite extractions. Set an earlier profile as a reference to follow. IMPORTANT: The Smart Espresso Profiler needs a pressure sensor to work, available at For flow profiling, and brew weight data, an Acaia Pearl, Lunar, Cinco, Pyxis, a Skale Bluetooth, a Eureka Precisa or a Decent smart coffee scale is needed. ## Smart Espresso Profiler Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource114/v4/ae/8d/82/ae8d82c3-32fd-d923-0a06-84696d21f316/8e1274f0-dd82-46fa-8385-1e48588bdc12_appstore_1.jpg/2688x1242.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource124/v4/d9/e7/90/d9e7908a-83f9-3b5d-ad72-f1928720b2a4/47fae6fd-fc0d-447e-87af-8b82ec6527e9_appstore2.jpg/2688x1242.png) ## Smart Espresso Profiler Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 11 (69%) - 4 stars: 3 (19%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 1 (6%) - 1 stars: 1 (6%) ## Smart Espresso Profiler Reviews in United States ### ***** "This is a fantastic espresso app" The smart espresso profiler is a fantastic app! In fact, I use it on a daily basis to log data and have concrete feedback of my espresso craft. One feature I wish they had is the ability to edit the extraction file. I think it would be nice to be able to pinpoint where you personally want the flow rate metric to begin recording on the graph and where you want it to end. I also wish it would do auto start drip 💧 timer mode like the lunar scale does. But all things considered. It is an amazing app with so many great features🤩❤️🙌 👏 BRAVO! -- Linea mini lover, 2026-05-11 ### *---- "every time i open the app it does NOT WORK" needs to be restarted so it connects to my acaia lunar… -- l0gg3r, 2023-01-25 ### ***** "Better than all the acaia apps" I am using the app on a non-lever espresso machine with an acaia lunar and honestly this app is the only reason I’m using any of the connected features of the lunar scale. I like that I can overlay a previous shot profile which allows me to check how the adjustments I made to grind size or flow affect the shot. I tried all the different apps that acaia put out over the years and this is honestly the best one. -- sebastiangeiger, 2021-02-28 ### ***** "Love using the Smart Espresso Profiler with my Flair espresso machine!" I don’t usually do reviews, but I wanted to share my thoughts on this one. I don’t have the hardware yet (but I think I will get one when the Flair 58 comes out), so I use it to understand the flow with my Acaia scale. I looked at other apps, but this one just works, and it works consistently! Im using it on my iPad mini 5, as I use my phone to be able to see the bottom of my portafilter. One ask I have is that I would love for the app to start recording the shot when I start the timer on the scale, and then stop it when I hit stop on the scale. I would also love a setting that enables the data from the last shot (bean, grinder setting) to pre-populate, as well as the ability to load grinder settings based on the bean selection. I would also love to have the brew log available across devices and in a web portal! Thank you for this wonderful app! 🙏🏽 -- mavericksphere, 2021-02-15 ### ****- "Could use some UI upgrade" This review is for the app only. I didn’t buy the hardware and uses this app with my Decent. It’s a great idea, but the UI is far from intuitive and could be confusing at times. -- Jrk jdnejcuhrlvigkjevfjfk, 2021-02-06 ### ****- "Need more scale support" I wish it supported my scale, Felicita Arc. It’s basically a copy of Acaia Lunar this should be simple to support. I’m an iOS developer and did Bluetooth support, this I wish I could help bringing support, if possible n -- Atanvarno, 2020-05-19 [View all Smart Espresso Profiler reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Smart Espresso Profiler In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | SEP scale only | $7.99 | ## Smart Espresso Profiler Discovered Keywords -
