Subscription for a light bulb I already paid for??? Scam

Cassy Powers on

United States

Got these light bulbs a while ago and just got around to using them. Figured I’d be able to at least have a few devices registered before having to pay the subscription. Nope. Even for 1 light bulb you have to have a subscription. Nice to know it’s a waste to own these now. Can’t even use it as a regular light bulb because it flashes until it’s paired to the app.

Scam!!!

You should not have to pay for this service. Scam app to waste your money on.

Disappointed

Maia-papaya on

United States

I bought the bulbs from a local store for $20 only to get home and download the app to learn that in order to use my bulbs as advertised (aka not having them flash between warm and cool light every second) you have to pay a $40 subscription. That much money just isn’t worth it for freaking lights.

Click bait! Avoid!!!

Hooz-Fooz on

United States

The App Store offers this app as a solution to control all your older devices, but as soon as you download it, you get forced to a page that wants you to sign up for an annual subscription! I don’t want to pay $40 to try their app. Sure you can cancel out of that screen and continue as a guest, but you can’t connect to any of your devices to try their app. To do that you get forced back to the subscription page. I am deleting this app.

Scam

This isn’t the real app it’s a copy trying to charge there’s two other apps from the actual company that work

Love my lights :)

PopeDope710 on

United States

I bought these lights at a local hardware store last year. When I first got it the app was very limited but still functioned as advertised. They have done several updates and I love the new features that my lights can preform! Saw other reviews of this product but I cannot say I have had any issues myself!

Scam app

Bobbobbobbob2 on

United States

Don’t download this third party app. It needs a subscription to add a device

Scam

hrjfuwisjf on

United States

11 cents a day or 40$ a year to turn on and off a light bulb that’s ridiculous
