However, every morning, I encounter payment errors, which forces me to apologize to my clients when their payments don't go through. The reader either logs me out or fails to pair with my device. Customers get charged double or payments disappear. There’s zero battery life on the reader, so I have it always on charge. Constantly logs you out everytime you attempt to take a payment and when you CAN login without getting a constant error, you’ll find it hasn’t even taken the payment despite the card being tapped or inserted and processing the payment. This app is an absolute appalling addition to be advertised by Commbank and should NOT be allowed to continue to be advertised as a merchant payment option, as it’s an unreliable device due to its app. I assume based on the reviews this won’t change ANYTIME soon— and that they don’t care. There has been multiple times where it says error, declines, asks clients to insert or try again, and double charges them! I also wish the transaction history was more clear and easy to use. I didn’t even realise I double charged someone until that night when I got the notification, and to make it way more embarrassing I also asked her to transfer me the money because it didn’t go through.
