## Smart Mini Description
Businesses can experience the freedom to take payments on-the-go with Smart Mini, our portable payment solution which simply pairs to your phone/tablet via Bluetooth. 

Smart Mini app features:
•	Take payments / issue refunds
•	View your transaction history
•	Add tips / surcharge to sales^
•	Send digital receipts to customers 
•	Receive same day settlement*

Get complimentary access to the Smart Mini Hub to view your daily sales in real-time, set surcharging or tipping rates and manage your Smart Mini user accounts. 

NOTE: The Smart Mini app can be used by CommBank merchant customers who have applied for a Smart Mini reader.

^Surcharging is a useful tool to recover the costs of processing card payments in your business. However, the value of the surcharge must not exceed the value that it costs you to accept the transaction, you can find more information at commbank.com.au/surcharging.

Smart Mini is a pretty useful tool but definitely could do with an upgrade to include a small screen and a keypad for customers to use to enter their PIN. 

Customers hate entering their PIN on my mobile, and I don’t like having to hand over my phone for the same.

The app has so much potential - but basic features lacking. 
E.g. Set ‘default’ price. At an event where every single person needs to pay $10, there should be an easy way to have $10 as the default amount rather than having to manually enter the price for every single transaction.

App works on older model iPhone. Newer model getting error 2002 session expired, can’t get sms activation code, can’t log in.

Been on phone support twice - haven’t had success to be able to log in to web browser mini hub address. RIDICULOUS 
Apparently I don’t have to even though I have emails asking me to.

AMEX reached out for me to do a dummy transaction to test their cards on the hub.
IT ISNT POSSIBLE TO DO A MANUAL TRANSACTION.

Next level of stupid right there.

PASSWORDS and all the usual things just not working. PINS not sending Can’t manually add a payment with card details.

Have to call up for simple account management stuff in 2024

I got the Smart Mini specifically to use at markets etc for my art business. It was really embarrassing when it failed and immediately logged me out during the process of taking a payment from my first customer. Not happy with it at all.

I started using the Smart Mini because it has a lower surcharge compared to other readers. However, every morning, I encounter payment errors, which forces me to apologize to my clients when their payments don't go through. The reader either logs me out or fails to pair with my device. This is my second reader, as I had to replace the first one. I am very disappointed and will be switching back to a reader from another company.

The app has not been working for a while know, meanwhile I can not use to receive payment for my business.
I have been sent 3 new smart mini terminals and still not connecting ERROR The app has encountered an error Please try restarting the app or Contact for assistance if this problem persists.(520). Going to SQUARE…

I’ve had issue after issue with this, I even went out and got a new phone because the customer service representative at the bank told me that my other phone was too old to connect to it!! 
After getting my new phone IT STILL DOESNT do what it’s supposed to do!!!! If your planning on using a device for the convenience due to various locations….find another provider or just get people to do a bank transfer….this is going back to the bank and I’m getting a refund!!!!

Smart mini received, can’t login in to the app it says session expired, spoke with support they couldn’t help and said it was an ongoing issue. I can’t believe CBA even rolled this out and actually promote it, wouldn’t even expect this from a startup company, very embarrassing will take business elsewhere.
