## SMART tag™ Parent App Reviews in United States

### *---- "Usually doesn’t work"
I have had this app for 4 days, and it only worked on the first day. Hence, so far, it has had a 25% up time.
-- Alsjxbs, 2024-12-11

### *---- "Bring back live bus location"
The notifications are so off and considering our bus stop is half a mile away, we really did rely on the live bus tracking.

### *---- "Make it make sense"
The app was supposed to be new & improved this school year. It did start out ok, a few glitches, but now I might as well delete because it is not helpful at all. I have my notifications set up to receive an alert 12 mins prior to pick up in the mornings and 5 mins prior to drop off after school. All of our alerts for about the past month or so have been 4 mins out or anytime now for morning pick up. I do feel that the problem is also associated with the driver arriving to the neighborhood and just sitting until he decides to start the route, for which I’ve also contacted the transportation department, but no change. Our pick up is supposed to be 7:26 and they ask the students to be there 5 mins prior. Nowadays, alerts are sent at 7:13 that bus will arrive in 4 mins or at 7:16-7:17 saying anytime now, but my daughter isn’t picked up until 7:21-7:22, sometimes 7:28. What’s the point in having the alert? Make it make sense!!

### **--- "Ugh!"
I want to love this app but it is extremely glitchy! I can’t count how many times I’ve had to refresh it just for it to work.. I thought it may have needed to be updated but nope.. any suggestions on how to get this all going smoothly..
-- ohhiimjess, 2024-11-12

### *---- "Bus on map"
Cannot see the bus on the map. Absolutely frustrating. Deleted the app and reinstalled, turned phone off and on again, signed in and out and did previous steps with it. App does not work correctly.
-- Dorisamar, 2024-11-06

### *---- "App doesn’t work well"
I am getting 33 not the same notifications at a time. I have updated the app and it still doing it. I haven’t gotten the notifications saying the bus will be there in 10 mins in weeks either.
-- Kristy7713, 2024-11-06

### **--- "No location of bus"
It would really help if it actually tracks the bus or inform if there’s a delay of bus.. it’s no map that actually shows live where bus is and also notifications not accurate, I received notification that my child will be picked up in 15mins at 7:09 this morning and pickup on app shows 7:27 and when e got at bus stop we were late
-- teemeek8, 2024-11-06

### *---- "Notifications"
Before I was getting one notification when I needed it for pick up and drop off. Now I’m getting 26 notifications per child (and I have 2 children) for no reason. This started after the newest update.
-- Ty4nn4, 2024-11-05

### *---- "No estimate"
So apparently there was live tracking of the bus so us parents would know when we had to go pick our kids up from the bus stop - that’s now gone (due to school feedback). I used to get notifications telling me the bus was xx minutes away - that’s now gone also. I now only get notifications telling me my kids have been dropped off or picked up which I know because I WAS THERE TO SEE THEM GET PICKED UP AND DROPPED OFF. Why does this app even exist at this point and what purpose does it serve for parents? I hope my tax dollars never went towards funding this, in theory it’s a great idea but if they keep removing every feature that made it useful why even have it in the first place!?
-- cmayberry, 2024-10-30

### *---- "Bring back the live map"
I stopped getting notifications on when bus would arrive despite having the “most recent update”. And even those were way off! Bring back this tracking map!!!
