## Smart Thermostat by NV Energy Description
NV Energy’s Smart Thermostat learns from you
Your new smart thermostat remembers your temperature preferences and adjusts your set point to conserve energy. You can save up to $100/year on heating and cooling.

Following Your Schedule
Scheduling your thermostat also helps you save energy. Be sure to edit the default schedules to suit your lifestyle.

Energy Savings
Your smart thermostat makes small adjustments to your set point based on outside weather conditions and your home’s heating and cooling patterns. The ECO circle appears when energy savings is activated.

Set Away
Use ‘Set Away’ when you’re on vacation or just away from home outside of your normal schedule. This saves even more energy.

## Smart Thermostat by NV Energy Reviews in United States

### *---- "App stopped working weeks ago"
The thermostat app hasn’t worked in weeks. Just says “apologies our servers seem to be down at the moment” every time you open the app.
-- Inabando, 2026-03-25

### *---- "Not Working"
App automatically pops up an error message on both Apple and Android devices. Has been out of order for over 2 weeks.
-- asdfhjkkgg, 2026-01-30

### **--- "App hasn’t worked for weeks"
Horrible
-- SueP IPhone, 2026-01-27

### *---- "Doesn’t work"
Never works
-- cekko1986, 2026-01-23

### *---- "Dissatisfied"
The is the most inefficient app out there please don’t get those smart thermostats from Nevada energy they are nothing but a heading and the app seems like it was created by kids .
-- Hitpool, 2024-01-12

### *---- "App is unreliable"
I often adjust my thermostat on the app and it fails to actually make the change on our wall unit (and thus our AC unit or heater) rendering it useless when away from the house. I’m also unable to set the “away” schedule—it just reverts back to the standard schedule. The app is totally worthless, except to check and make sure NV energy hasn’t involuntarily put us into an “energy saving” event.
-- sprty3, 2023-07-18

### **--- "Temperature"
App doesn’t change settings as you adjust temperature. Usually have to make adjustments manually at thermostat. Doesn’t learn with manual adjustments as jumps settings by up to three degrees by itself.
-- 456**, 2023-07-08

### *---- "NVenergy Garbage thermostat"
I really hope NVEnergy software for our electrical grid do not use the people who make this thermostat. If so, everyone is in trouble.
-- Sr. Happy, 2023-01-15

### *---- "Terrible app"
Doesn't even allow me to creat new account.
-- manirooniam, 2022-09-09

### *---- "Setting Do Not Apply"
I open the app and change the temp up or down on or off but it does not apply. Sometimes it works but more often it does not.
