## SmartHome (MSmartHome) Description
==The Red Dot Award 2023 Winner==

SmartHome allows you to connect, monitor, and control smart appliances from Midea, Pelonis, Comfee, Master Kitchen, Artic King, and MDV.

SmartHome replaces the MSmartHome and Midea Air apps, providing a brand-new look and improved experience.

KEY FEATURES:

REMOTE APP CONTROL: Easily control your smart appliance anytime, from anywhere using your smart phone. For example, cool down your room before you arrive home.

VOICE CONTROL: Enjoy hands-free control of select appliances with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri.

NOTIFICATIONS: Never miss an important update or alert from your smart appliances. Receive timely notifications to alert you that the fridge door is open, or your oven has finished cooking dinner.

APPLIANCE STATUS: Monitor your smart appliances anytime, from anywhere. Check how much time is left on your laundry cycle or when your dishwasher will have the silverware ready for dinner.

HELPFUL AUTOMATIONS: Make everyday life a little easier. Enable your air conditioner to automatically turn on when it is hot outside. Set a schedule for your dehumidifier to turn off at bedtime.

CUSTOMIZABLE DEVICE CARDS: Quick access to your most used devices and controls from the app home page.

SmartHome supports home appliances including air conditioners, vacuum cleaners, dehumidifiers, fans, ovens, washers & dryers, dishwashers, and more.

Access Permissions:
The following access permissions are required for the SmartHome (formerly MSmartHome) app to provide necessary services. If you do not allow them, you can still use the app except for the related services.
- Bluetooth: Find and connect to nearby devices via Bluetooth or BLE.
- Location: Detect home WLAN network information to add device. Check your location to automate actions when location changes. Search for local weather information in "Scene" function.
- Camera: Scan QR codes to add device. Upload photo to report a repair or feedback.
- Album: Scan saved QR codes. Edit your profile photo. Upload a photo to report a repair or feedback.

※The availability of products and services may vary depending on the models you own or the region/country you reside in.

## SmartHome (MSmartHome) Reviews in United States

### ***** "Great!"
Love how I can control the device with my phone! It is so perfect everything about it!
-- chef ggcgbjh, 2025-01-01

### *---- "App freezes"
Need to fix app. It keeps freezing up after on button push.
-- 0 stars ....................0, 2024-12-30

### ***** "Easy to Navigate"
I love being able to check the operation of my refrigerator with this app. Very easy to navigate the app and keep up with maintenance and operation.
-- PapaCx6, 2024-12-29

### ***** "Air condition"
Very good app.
-- dembella86, 2024-12-28

### **--- "Frequent Disconnections"
Needs Work
-- Whiskey1973, 2024-12-26

### ****- "Improving"
Developer responds to remarks and is constantly improving the app. I initially gave the vacuum a single star rating but increased it to four since Midea is working on improving the app for the American market. The vacuum overall is awesome. The wife loves vacuuming now and even mops weekly lol. Thanks Midea.
-- 5422)@@(:,), 2024-12-21

### ***** "SmartHome app"
I find SmartHome app say to use and a saver as it allows remote monitoring of our dehumidifier.
-- Alexis-Miami, FL, 2024-12-20

### **--- "Rarely works"
I have to go to the basement and re-pair my dehumidifier to the app at least once a month. The next time I open the app it will be unlinked yet again. This means I can’t see any information, room humidity, device status, etc. Piece of junk.
-- Pasacaglia, 2024-12-20

### ****- "Works fine with midea"
I have no complaints other than it should provide the IP of devices somewhere .
-- Mark Azali, 2024-12-19

### ***** "Dehumidifier Checking when away"
Great!
-- backtomi, 2024-12-18
