## SmartRent Reviews in United States

### **--- "Safety concern"
It’s a fairly easy app to use. I needed a family member to come over when I wasn’t home. I gave them my login info. Assuming they would need to be close to the door for the code to work. That was not the case at all. I learned that once you give out your code (ie to a family member), and they download the app. They’re able to unlock your door, even from miles away. That’s very concerning for hackers. Please fix this issue.

### *---- "Your App doesn’t work"
Recently you have installed the Smart system in our Apartments but this App only works for lock and unlock the door but doesn’t work for HVAC like controlling the heat and cool, please work on improvement of this App for better service.

### *---- "The worse"
Never connects cant get in touch with customer service support
-- Tasty 1105, 2024-12-30

### ****- "Great but Need More Shortcuts Integrations"
Overall the app is great, but it would be nice to have more Shortcuts integration. For example, I would like to unlock my door with Siri.
-- PeterChen110, 2024-12-28

### ***** "Excelente"
Muy buena aplicación
-- Reiiiiyyyyy, 2024-12-28

### **--- "Offline ALOT, Thermostat"
The app displays ‘offline’ messages when I try to make changes to the thermostat.
-- PeaweeandMagoo, 2024-12-23

### *---- "Lock Does Not Work!"
Most of the time I can’t get it to work. It’s not working right now.
-- AliGhaderk, 2024-12-23

### *---- "Doesn’t follow the schedule."
Doesn’t follow the HVAC schedule at all. Constantly have to manually set the temperatures I want it at despite having set a schedule.

The app also frequently is very slow, or totally disconnected from the lock/HVAC system.
-- bbryanh, 2024-12-22

### ***-- "Major Issue with Front Door Lock Activity Tracking"
This review focuses on one significant problem with the app: the accuracy of the front door lock activity. For instance, I haven’t been to my apartment in several days because I’m paying rent but no longer live there—my ex-girlfriend resides there now. However, the activity log consistently shows that I’m accessing the door multiple times per day, which is both inaccurate and unsettling. This raises serious concerns about privacy and potential misuse, as such faulty data could easily be used in harmful or deceptive ways.
-- Bukalakachimba, 2024-12-20

### *---- "Does not work properly"
Never works . The phone agents trouble shooting is no help.
-- No help doesn’t work, 2024-12-18
