They should rename this app Dumb Things given how bad it is.
I’ve been troubleshooting all my smart devices and even my WiFi network over the past few months trying to figure out just what is going wrong and it’s become very clear that the actual point of failure is this horrendous app.
There’s been no support, I’ve sent multiple error logs, I’ve tried to call and chat with their agents and nothing.
They literally have no troubleshooting other than “have you tried to turn it off and on again?”
This app is everything I hate about home automation a useless black box with no documentation that can suddenly fail and hold you hostage. Avoid avoid avoid. I will not be buying anything Samsung to again.

رائع جداً ضاع مني الريموت لتلفزيون سامسونق، و ما فيه تطبيق ساعدني كبديل غير هذا. ميزته يعطيك سماع بدون ما تضغط شيء في التلفزيون ، برقم ال pin تقدر تدخل. و بدون اشتراك.

App is Down. Use the app to report outage.
Currently Smart Things service is not working. The Samsung website says open the app and use the three vertical dots to report the incident.
I would do that but there’s no three dots because the app is not working. See the problem?
I’ve deleted and redownloaded and reset and signed in and signed out and signed in again… not working. Not responding. Nowhere to get support.
The Smart Life App that runs my smart lights that I controlled through this Samsung App? That still works so the problem is all with Samsung.
Lesson here is don’t get Samsung smart devices.
