I’m ok with monitoring me while I’m driving but it is a invasion of my privacy to have to have the app monitor while I’m not driving. I’m considering switching insurance companies. SMARTtrek responded to my review. They make it seem like it’s normal to invade my privacy by wanting 24/7/365 tracking of my whereabouts. As I said before, I’d AAA explained it that way I never would have taken the insurance. If I’m a passenger in a car it’s tracking me, if I’m riding my bike it’s tracking me. Any activity not involving driving my car is none of their business. You have to consciously remember to remove yourself if you didn’t drive within 24 hours or you’re stuck with someone else’s driving being recorded. It doesn’t tell you where you were docked so you can’t check to see if it’s correct or not or figure out how you can improve your driving.
