It's a near magical experience to seamlessly slightly move your head and have your game perspective immediately play along (the movements in the game are exaggerated so that you only have to make slight movements of your head to control the camera). Additionally, since version 2, your eyes are also optionally tracked and will nudge the camera based on where you're glancing on screen!

 - Simply lean forward to get a closer look at your Flight Simulator cockpit!
 - Look a bit up to see the overhead panel of your A320!
 - Simply shift your head a bit to the right to see the direction of the space station you're approaching in Elite: Dangerous!
 - Look a bit left before a hard left turn in Euro Truck Simulator 2!

No headset or extra equipment of any kind is required! Simply set up your device so that it can see your face. Using simple camera gestures, you can shift your perspective in-game. Also, if you want, you can store views (say, a copilot angle, or a cockpit closeup) as Quick Views for easy access later.

Your head movements are slightly exaggerated which enables you to look out of a cockpit side window with just a slight movement of your head to the left.

Any game that supports the FreeTrack or TrackIR protocol will work with this, including:

- Microsoft Flight Simulator
- Microsoft FSX
- DCS World
- Elite: Dangerous
- IL2: Sturmovik
- Euro Truck Simulator 2
- Kerbal Space Program
- ...and many, many others!

I was hesitant for a little while how well this would work for DCS/MSFS but after buying it I can say I’m utterly impressed. It is a professional and well crafted product and was practically effortless to setup. Only about 1-2 hours to perfect my curves without any prior experience and getting it working perfectly how I want it. Nothing more to say than if you have any interest in this just buy it! It’s nothing short of spectacular!

I use SmoothTrack along with opentrack for head tracking in flight sims. This app works flawlessly, even in a dimly lit room and I don’t need to attach anything to my head.

Highly recommend this app, its features are top notch i cannot game without it anymore. For the price there is no match and the setup takes less than 2 min especially if you watch a guide on youtube. I use it for American truck sim and msfs 2020 and have been recently learning in another mod/game called falcon bms and it makes using the cockpit 10x easier. For the price you literally cannot beat it. 10/10

The tracking is phenomenal, especially with my IPhones high frame rates, at 120 FPS, it’s amazing, but the software they use to interface with OpenTrack crashes every time I launch, or is stopped by firewall, I let it bypass the firewall, launch it, and it still crashes. I hope I can get it working.

Recently I have been looking for a way to enable my ability to look around while playing Elite Dangerous. I have a HOSAS setup but really wanted the ability to increase my visibility especially when in combat. I looked at a VR headset but didn’t really want the stress on my neck.

I ran across this app referenced on Reddit and thought I would give it a try. I’m really happy with the results! Love that I can look around my cockpit while flying. Added immersion for only $12! 

The app was pretty easy to configure and just worked once I was in game. I do occasionally have to recalibrate but that is probably due to me slightly adjusting y chair as I play. 

This works by connecting your phone to your computer via USB or WiFi. I’m using WiFi and have found it to have great performance. 

The app will work with your phone from multiple angles. I sit my phone on a charging cradle on my desk for tracking which not only helps keep my phone charged but keeps the phone at a good consistent angle for viewing my head movements.

Worth reviewing which I never do, but this app is amazing.  Was researching head tracking products we have all heard of before and somehow through the rabbit hole heard of this working with an open source program.   After about 10 minutes I was already using it for American truck simulator.  Can’t wait to try it on flight sims now. For the cost of this app I have a head tracking program and don’t need to wear anything!   Well done!  Worth every penny

I’ve been using head tracker with star citizen for two years now and can say, it’s the best. It kills the tracking in-game and I’ve used tobii and no offense, $280 for what? This does the same thing. Eye tracking ✅

### ***** "Love it in iRacing"
Version 2 made an already great app even greater. This has been incredibly stable and useful in sim racing (iRacing). I finally realized that my phone should be mounted separately from my sim rig and monitor so that SmoothTrack is not affected by vibrations. The added immersion - of being able to look side to side and around sharp turns - is simply wonderful while racing. Thank you for this awesome, affordable solution!
