## Smug Energy Description
Smug connects through the cloud to your home battery and EV charger and optimises your energy use, saving you £100s on your energy bills.

HOW IT WORKS
We learn how you use energy. Our algorithm gets better over time as it understands your usage patterns.

We forecast your solar energy generation using state of the art meteorological models and past generation data from your solar array.

We connect to your electricity supplier’s tariffs to understand time-of-use pricing for imported and exported electricity.

We calculate the best times to charge and discharge your battery to minimise the cost of imported electricity and maximise income from exported electricity.

We control your battery (and your EV charger) through the cloud without you lifting a finger.

GETTING STARTED
Connect your battery
No hardware required. Just log into your battery's cloud account.

Add your tariffs
Enter your import and export tariff details so that we know when electricity is cheap and when it's not.

Switch on optimisation
No complex configuration, just a single toggle switch.

Sit back and save!
We'll make sure your battery is topped up in time so that you avoid buying expensive electricity, and we'll export when you get the best price.
