Snakes and Ladders, also known as Chutes and Ladders, is a classic board game with simple and straightforward gameplay. It's often played by children and families for its ease of understanding and fun factor. Here's a basic overview of how the game is played: Objective: The primary objective of Snakes and Ladders is to be the first player to reach square 100 and win the game. Gameplay: * Players: The game can be played with one or more players, taking turns in sequence. * Starting: Each player starts at square 1. You can determine the starting player through a simple method like rolling the die, and the player with the highest roll goes first. * Rolling the Die: On a player's turn, they roll the die to determine how many spaces they will advance on the board. For example, if they roll a 4, they move their game piece four spaces forward. * Ladders: If a player's game piece lands on the bottom of a ladder, they climb it and advance to the square at the ladder's top. * Snakes: If a player's game piece lands on the head of a snake, they must ride it down to the square at the snake's tail. * Winning: The first player to reach square 100 exactly wins the game. If a player rolls a number that would move them beyond square 100, they must wait for their next turn and hope to roll the exact number needed to reach 100. Rules: * A player must roll the exact number needed to reach the winning square (100) to win.
