Downloaded app to try free trial and found it won’t allow me to put in my own recipes, so is useless to me. (For instance it assumes my quiche is same as ones that use lots of butter and cream.) Went to cancel through the app which took me to apple subscriptions. Hit cancel and it keeps coming back on as a valid subscription that will bill me in six days. Cannot get it to show as cancelled. DO NOT DOWNLOAD AND HOPE TO GET AN ACTUAL FREE TRIAL!
Since you’re tricked into making an account then told a subscription is required anyways. What a waste of my time; just say that upfront and/or charge for the app. Guess there is no decent alternative to MyFitnessPal as of yet.
This technology is amazing. Incredible accuracy as far as knowing the type of food and the calorie amount from a snapped picture. You get the nutrition facts without having to look up the nutrition facts. Very cool.
Not accurate and not free. Can’t even try it out for free. Waste of money
The meal keeps logging to the last date and time selected. So if I logged dinner for Sunday then try to log breakfast on Monday, my Monday meal gets attached to Sunday dinner. Can’t fix the date of a meal so it’s super annoying.
Why have we changed the method of entering daily food? I’ve been using the app for months and successfully entering my food the same way every day, now all of a sudden that is gone and everything is new? This really puts a dent in my daily food tracking.
Works well but badly needs a widget.
Had to double check Google multiple times for multiple foods. Plain pasta is 800 calories a cup? No it’s not. Same with chicken, chicken wings, etc. not an app I can trust for accuracy.
I would rate this app five stars if it included a dessert option and using photos from your camera roll to count the calories. Everything else is excellent. I love that I can take a picture and get the calorie count of the food. I will continue using this app as it is the best one I have found, and I am considering upgrading to the premium version after my trial ends.
