That’s not just a policy change — it’s the digital equivalent of burning down someone’s house with all their memories inside. Years of family moments, friendships, milestones — gone unless you pay up. It’s deeply disappointing and feels like a betrayal of long-time users who trusted this platform to safeguard their history.

I’m gonna leave the platform entirely. If they do not change this or go through with this. I would rather delete Snapchat than pay extra for features we have had for YEARS. Many YEARS and me and including all the people who use this app have memories from up to 4-5 years and even longer. We should not pay for OUR OWN MEMORIES.
How i feel about having to pay for storage
It’s pretty ridiculous that after having snapchat for so many years and saving snaps for so many years just for half of the photos to get deleted for storage is crazy. People already pay enough for premium now we have to pay for storage. I mainly used snapchat for taking photos now i can’t even do that anymore? Me and A LOT of people kindly ask if you guys change that update just for the sake of your app because people will stop using snapchat because of the new paying for storage update.

I’ve had Snapchat for so long and have saved thousands of memories to their memories feature and now they except us to pay for storage all of a sudden? And they don’t even make memories easy to download at all. I can’t download any of my pictures off of Snapchat unless it’s individually, even with the new update. Pathetic.
