## SnapScan Description
Payments shouldn’t disrupt the joy of simple pleasures. Whether you’re on the go or on the couch, SnapScan allows you to make quick and easy payments. After installing the app, simply load your bank card and add a secure PIN or enable biometric authentication. It’s as simple as that. 

Pay nice: 
- Shop in-store and online
- Pay for parking at various locations
- Send money to friends 
- Buy prepaid electricity, airtime and data
- Settle bills (via invoices and in the app)
- Donate to charities, and set up recurring monthly donations

Manage your account:  
- Load up to three cards to use for payments
- Add a nickname for each card so you always know which card you’re using
- Top up your SnapScan Wallet and make payments using the funds you loaded
- Authenticate your payments with a 4-digit PIN or biometrics
- Verify your account to withdraw money from your Wallet to your linked bank account, or send money in your Wallet to a friend

What you need:
A valid credit or eCommerce-enabled debit card (SnapScan works with all South African banks and most international credit cards).
A South African cellphone number

It’s fine for paying for washing machines, electricity but don’t put a lot of money in here because good luck withdrawing it back into your account. It’s easy to add money in but taking it out requires ID document, selfie and once you do that pray that an unexplained error doesn’t occur. Make sure you don’t want to take money out because once it’s in there there’s no getting it out unless you’re buying something that supports its payment.

Once you have paid a merchant why can’t you choose to pay again without having to scan the code.

Focusing still broken in v3.7.7. With camera app, I can focus as close as couple of cm from my phone. With SnapScan focus is fixed at about 0.5 m. By the time it focused on barcoded ticket it no longer has resolution to read it. Makes it completely useless. 

SnapScan has known about the focus issue for almost 6 months now. Having advertisements at malls saying you can use SnapScan to pay for a parking ticket is false advertising if you know for this long that you have an issue.

Hi there, I’ve been using SnapScan for some time now however what I find frustrating is that there aren’t many vendors, shops etc that allow SnapScan for example checkers.  Pretty much all I’m able to use it for is when I go to the laundromat and even then I encounter a problem that if I pay multiple times because I use up to five washers and then five dryers I get the red alert saying I’ve paid too many times.  I just wish that it was useable at more vendors then I would give 5 stars.

I love SnapScan and use it all the time but something is up with the camera focus when trying to read barcodes on parking tickets. It doesn’t know how to direct the correct camera perhaps. 
Would be great if this could be fixed.

I used to love snapscan a lot. For many years I save money to wallet on daily basis and pay to my standard bank bond when reaching a small goal. Without any notice, this function was removed! I’m not sitting with R5000 in my wallet and couldn’t do anything with it. I tried to withdraw, your stupid app said my bank account couldn’t be verified. I tried to pay takealot, your stupid app couldn’t give me “pay from wallet” option. I’m so disappointed. How can your app become so bad like this? I feel I’m scammed.
