I so wanted to like this but so many fragrances are missing that I’m unable to add which makes participation challenging if nearly impossible.

As other reviewers have stated, the library on Sniff is a little bit limited. I am noticing quite a few of my collection nowhere to be found on sniff. They’re also seems to be a lack of discontinued fragrance, which I understand if they never add discontinued fragrances but it would be nice to be able to fill out my entire collection on this app.

The workings for the app are so nice and useful. I love how in depth it is and I will continue to use it but the white background with bright yellow font was not the best idea. I can’t read half the app, either give a dark mode option or change the font please!!!!!!

It’s a nice concept and has some good brand options. It is lacking a lot of brands, understandably since there are so many, I just wish we could suggest additions. Even if we could upload “unofficial” fragrances in our closet for those not listed yet. My main issue is that the app is very slow and glitchy. It seems like it needs an update and/or more time with developers.

Generally really like the app and that you can log on the go, etc… but the database is really lacking a lot of perfumes. Only about half of my collection is available on the app and unfortunately it doesn’t seem like there’s a big focus on expanding to houses that aren’t currently on the app. Really beautiful design although the screens are pretty clunky and glitchy when loading. Has the potential to be the Mecca for perfume but has a long way to go to compete with some of the other sites.

Overall a decent selection including brands Ive never heard of. They haven’t added any super new brands like Orabella (Bella Hadids) but they have Nicki Minajs and Britney Spears so I’m sure they’ll add it. The app does an EXCELLENT job of providing a wide variety of notes. They can def provide more perfumes but this seems like an app in development so I’m not gonna be too harsh. I found most of the big name brands I wanted and they have a big selection of those. They break it down enough for perfume newbies to understand. You can see what’s popular as well as other peoples scents. You can also follow people! There’s a little test for finding scents and you can do it multiple times! Personally I love it and I think ppl are too hard on it expecting it to be perfect

I couldn’t submit reviews for fragrances because it didn’t allow me to choose logevity etc. at first I thought I was blocked from doing so because I left a negative review for a fragrance that Demi hypes . So idk. That and as another person said - option to add fragrances  to their database from Fragrantica would be great

This app has so much promise, however IT LAGS SO TERRIBLY. I spent the past hour attempting to add fragrances to my collection, and within that hour, I was only able to add 2. This is because the app loads so agonizingly slowly. It’s unusable for me.

I really want to love this app.  It was being soooo slow I figured I’d try removing it from my phone and reinstalling.  Now it won’t let me log back in.  All the time put into entering my collection and writing reviews…gone?  I guess?  It won’t let me make a new account either though so hopefully it’s a problem that can be fixed.

I’ve deleted app, redownloaded, let it it sit to load for almost 30 minutes, all the things, it will not load for the past 7 days. I love the concept, but the execution is really poor. The app developers should really be more on top of fixing bugs and keeping the app fully functioning.

The app has been out for a while and they report they now have a dev team. But the app remains extremely slow to respond. It discourages use because of how buggy it is. Before adding more fragrances to the database, please work on improving app responsiveness.

I downloaded the app thinking it will be amazing to connect with people who appreciate Parfums/colognes. However the app is slow, the developers seem to have abandoned the app, the articles posted are more than a month old.

### **--- "Pretty interface lacks dept"
Easy to navigate and pretty interface.  Possibly the best looking frag app.  However library of fragrances is scarce with no way of notifying or requesting an update to the library.  Either entire niche houses are missing or fragrances within houses are missing. Especially if the house isn’t a mainstream house.  Also the app at times take time to load or is clunky while navigating between screens.  App would be a 4 or 5 if the library could be easily updated or close to up to date and the clunkiness could be overcome.

I understand this was meant to be a new generation concept to Fragrantica’s website, evolved into a social media app. But I don’t think vision was met with competent developers. It’s been a year, and the database is still inadequate and it doesn’t offer anything that Fragrantica doesn’t already offer.

I think I would rather see Fragrantica expand their website database into an app. There’s just too many years of history and data there, that can’t be competed with.
