## Snippety Description
Stop wasting time typing the same things over and over. Snippety is a powerful text expander and snippet organizer designed to automate your workflow. Instantly access reusable templates for messages, documents, emails, code fragments, developer scripts, marketing details, and more - anywhere you type, paste directly from your keyboard.

Snippety integrates seamlessly with every app and text field. Use the dedicated Snippety Keyboard to expand your shortcuts instantly while typing. Want to save something on the fly? Create new snippets directly from any selected text using the Share menu.

With native iCloud sync, your entire snippet library is always up to date across your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Install Snippety on all your Apple devices for a seamless and unified typing experience.

Seamless Integration:
• Dedicated Snippety Keyboard to let you access your snippets wherever you type.
• Snippety Keyboard lets you easily switch between typing and expanding keywords. Select Snippet Expander, type a predefined keyword, and the snippet will expand automatically.
• Snippety Keyboard supports QWERTY, QWERTZ, AZERTY, and Dvorak layouts, allowing you to search snippets and fill placeholders directly from the keyboard.
• Share menu extension to create text snippets from any application.
• Integration with Shortcuts app.
• Minimalistic and beautiful design adjusted to light and dark mode.

Smart Placeholders:
• Create reusable templates by replacing customizable parts with smart placeholders.
• Take advantage of 20 smart placeholders: auto-incrementing number, AI assistant, calculated date, calculated time, clipboard content, random value, hyperlink, note, selectable date, selectable value, multiselect, selected text, snippet reference, text transformation, text variable, text variable reference, and multiline text variable. MacOS application supports also script, clipboard history, and file content placeholders.
• Avoid repeating the same parameters, with Snippety you can insert the same value into multiple places of your template.
• Use conditional blocks to dynamically show or hide parts of your snippet based on provided conditions.
• Build reusable parts of your snippets and reference them in other templates.

AI Integration:
• Enable AI features in all your applications by using AI placeholders.
• Access AI directly from Snippety Keyboard without opening the app.
• Ask Snippety to generate templates and insert placeholders using AI computing power.
• Smart AI assistant placeholder is ready to perform any task for you using the selected text or clipboard content.

iCloud Collaboration:
• Share selected snippets with co-workers, friends, or across your personal devices, even if they use different Apple IDs.
• The new collaboration is built using native Apple technologies, ensuring your data remains secure and never passes through third-party servers.
• Control who can access each shared snippet and choose between read-only or write permissions.

Flexible:
• Syntax highlighting supporting 50+ formats.
• Rich Text (RTF), HTML, and Markdown support (with images).

Unlimited access:
• Sync your snippets seamlessly across Mac, iPhone, and iPad.
• Share snippets using secure links.

Snippety is free to download and use with up to 8 active snippets. Upgrade to Snippety Pro to unlock:
• Unlimited snippets & keyboard usage
• iCloud Collaboration
• Snippet version history
• Database import & export
• Shortcuts integration
• Custom AI API integration

NOTE: Snippety Keyboard works with snippets in any language, but the keyboard itself allows typing English letters + diacritics. Keyboard input is used to fill placeholders, search, or expand snippets by keyword, and these features are limited to the English alphabet. These limitations do NOT affect the app - only the Snippety Keyboard.

## Snippety Reviews in United States

### ***-- "Great app in concept, ai is a missed opportunity"
AI is one of their standouts. But it only supports GPT (not Claude or Gemini) and only supports 4/4o versus o3 or any of the latest. This needs to be a priority differentiator!
-- Bwt615, 2025-04-01

### *---- "Doesn’t work"
The most basic feature of text expansion just doesn’t work on iPad, which is why I bought this for $30! The documentation doesn’t exist for iOS/iPadOS. The keyboard feature isn’t relevant for those using an external keyboard.
-- Keouel, 2025-03-13

### ****- "So close to perfect"
I would love to give it 5 stars but for an app that I use for minimizing keystrokes not being able to run snippets in one tap is a pain. Why can’t I pin the most used ones at the top? I dislike having to click on a collection and then going for the snippet.

Also the ability to display snippets like icons so I can have multiple displayed on a phone keyboard. I normally use with 2 hands and can easily access the full keyboard.

That said the app does what it says on the tin. Does it well. But the iOS version feels incomplete.
-- PChReviews, 2025-01-25

### ***** "Amazing cross platform snippets manager"
I’m still learning how to use the app. Really happy that the developer released help documentation in the latest update.
-- Einstein.the.sloth, 2025-01-19

### ***** "Amazing timesaver"
The more you use it, the more time you save. Can't recommend it enough for sales/recruiting or other repetitive typing roles!
-- Urban Twentysomething, 2024-12-26

### ***** "Awesomesauce"
Great app that syncs across devices. Clean and quick and gets the job done well.

2 things I’d love to see:

1. App-native snippet syncing that keeps things off of slow and archaic and costly iCloud.

2. Ability to live auto suggest snippets as you type. Or at least have them searchable and selectable in a small pop up menu near cursor with a shortcut. Searchable is the key difference here compared to current quick menu functionality.
-- Delighted With Your App, 2024-12-16

### ***** "Amazing app, amazing dev"
Wow, Wojciech, you're a straight G - so pleasant in your support interactions, and such a great text expander you've made. Does a lot that Typinator makes difficult or has trouble with. Thank you! 😎
-- SimpleReviewYes?, 2024-12-14

### ***-- "Pasting works well, AI doesn't work"
AI using Ollama crashes the app.
-- masterofBerns, 2024-12-13

### ***** "Superb!"
Utilities come and go, but few stick around, this is one of those few Apps; it is the first thing I install on a new Mac. I use Snippety every day,
-- Sdmarcotte, 2024-12-10

### ***** "Powerful Fast Perfect"
Moving over to Snippety from another text expander tool has been wonderful!

The speed and responsiveness of the product is fabulous. The capabilities are amazing and just what I need.

The perfectly synced snippets between my Apple devices, make everything super smooth. I love that. I have the full suite of snippets on my phone as well as my Mac and iPad.

The excellent tool is backed by an excellent and responsive developer. I had an idea for a feature, and the developer replied with an immediate workaround, and then a surprise rollout of the feature in the next release! Amazing!
