Our tests show that loading, start up, shutdown, search, and navigation speeds all exceed Safari and other popular browsers by a noticeable margin.


2. FULL SCREEN
We've consolidated the top and bottom tool bars as seen in Safari into one context sensitive navigation bar saving plenty of space. In addition this toolbar can be hidden simply by browsing down a web page. There’s no ‘duck duck go’ option in search engine choice. When changing from ‘g**gle’ the search ceases to work. There is no way to set a home page. Fixing these simple things would transform it - but I imagine that they’re deliberate so will never be changed - thus I’d give no stars if it were allowed…

Apparently, Apple couldn't possibly make Safari work on a Gen 4 iPad, but these guys could deliver a perfectly usable browser. OK, it's a bit basic. For instance, there seems to be no 'History'. (Whether that's a limitation or a feature is for you to decide.)

Also, I've yet to discover a way to import my existing bookmarks, and the browser seems very keen I use a search engine I've never heard of. But the big deal is, the browser actually works! 

I'm genuinely grateful.

Was not able to load some websites on my old iPad as it is iOS9 & some things only allow you to use them if you have the later Safari versions (iOS 11 or newer). I can now get into websites which try to make you download their app which uses a lot of memory. Snowbunny has been updated to cater for the latest iOS version but still can be downloaded on iOS9 & uses a small amount of memory, thanks!

I have hardly used my old iPad 2 IOS 9.3.5 
For some years now. Using the original browser meant lock up or it would return to the home screen. At times the ability to access any site I was searching for. "Saying unable to find due to protocol error". By sheer luck I came across "snowbunny" and downloaded same. So this review is only recent but so far, I can find those elusive sites without any problem and browse without crashing after a short period of time.  So very pleased to resurrect my iPad after so long.
