Soccer Teammate lets you capture and analyze your soccer team’s statistics.

Record game events in real-time. There are over 40 predefined events that can be recorded including goals, assists, shots (on and off target and hit woodwork), saves, crosses, corner kicks, substitutions, fouls, offsides, penalties, yellow and red cards, and many more.

Track your team’s and individual players’ statistics. Choose from over 70 predefined statistics covering scoring, shooting, passing, defending, goalkeeping, dead balls, infringements, discipline and game outcomes. The statistics include simple event counts such as Shots On Target, time-based statistics such as Minutes Per Shot and more complex statistics such as Shot Accuracy, Save Percentage and Clean Sheets.

Create your own custom events and statistics. Create player, goalkeeper and team events. Create statistics that count single or multiple events or divide one set of event counts by another, allowing a huge range of statistics to be created.

Track playing time for each player and by position using in-game player clocks.

Directly manipulate team line-ups and formations by dragging players into position. Make substitutions by dragging players to and from the bench.

Define multiple competitions, each with their own game format, including the number of players and substitutes, the number of periods and their duration and whether games can have overtime and/or a penalty shootout.

Record contact information for all players and coaches for easier communication with parents and opposing team coaches. Link games to calendar events and their location to maps.

Share information by email, SMS and Twitter and automatically tweet game events.

Define jersey colors and styles and team logos for all teams making team identification easy. Use numbered player jerseys or photos to identify players within team line-ups.

Great App

I tried 3 or 4 tracking apps, and found this one to be the best. I’ve been using it for 3 years (125+ games) and now couldn’t imagine coaching a game without it. It helps track overall play time, but also with the shift time calculator it helps me to understand player fatigue, so I can make informed in-game moves. Also is great to have game records if a parent ever complains about play time.

Needs some more work but best one for iOS

Needs editable date for entered games and players after game saved. Unable to edit date. Bug - game shows on calendar ios but editing date there does not fix date in app. Get buttons for common items eg goal, possession, assist next to player and team. Ios 11 works for save to files but crashes on save to image. Backup works good Also need more stats eg win percentage for team, last 5 games win loss tie quick view, player goal percentage also left foot right foot stats as well as shot percentage. Show quick view at front end for team and preferred player eg my kid Joe PDF export ok but missing a lot including graphics, stats and more. Would be great to have more PDF export options ie by player game team and season. For player would include shots R and L with graphic view, stats, game data, game winning goals or assists etc per season

Teammate review (please add ability to flip formation vertically)

Awesome app all around. Best one I've found so far to be used for game subs and stats tracking. Very intuitive when doing subs, clean interface while still providing lots of data. Would be nice to have a chalkboard feature, but I can do without it. The only this that is really frustrating is that the formation is set upside down. Maybe some people like it but it always confuses me when I have goalie at the top, strikers at the bottom and subs at the bottom. Would give it a 5 out of 5 if option to rotate formation was added.

Good for game stats

Easy to use during game once the team lineup has been entered. Had to email company support for instructions.

Finally - THE player tracking app I

I've downloaded countless soccer apps looking for one that meets my needs as a youth soccer team manager. As a manager, I need to track player time and significant events (goals, assists, etc.) I've got a paper system that I've used for a number of years but I've searched for an app to do this for me. Lots look promising but require too many taps to do the simplest function. Soccer Teammate is different - it simply works and it works simply. I can place my players on the field (my starting line-up) by dragging them onto the screen. I can adjust the formation (4-4-2, 4-3-3, etc.) by simply moving the shirts/players on the screen. Start the game clock and record significant events during the game by tapping the player and then selecting the event from a list (shot on target, shot off target, save, goal, etc.). Substituting players? Just drag the player off the bench onto the field to the position/player they are replacing and the sub is recorded (along with the time). All with a game clock running in the background. I can summarize stats during or after the game. I can tabulate stats by competition type (league, friendly, cup, tournament). Soccer Teammate will be my constant companion on the touchline this summer! Well done!
