SocialFocus: Hide Distractions

i’ve had this app for a few days now and it’s been working as expected and advertised, but the only issue is I can’t even open the plugin when i’m on the X website. I then tired to open it on another tab which worked but none of the options I toggle for X work. other than that it’s been amazing for instagram.

While the app does sort of break Reels playback, it doesn't remove the Reels popup in my feed entirely, which is what I got the extension for in the first place.

Helpful little app that optimizes these sites so I can use them only for the specific reasons I want to, not that an algorithm wants me to.

Exactly what I was hoping for.

Does exactly what it describes and the $3 price tag is worth the time I got back.

Worked great on Safari, but doesn't work with Chrome.

I really like this extension, but I am concerned about the privacy warning in settings. Can this app see sensitive information on every webpage I visit on safari even though I only allow it to operate on youtube.com?

I never write review, but within 10 mins of using this app function I can see how this app is going to change my productivity and focus!! To give you context on my desktop I have a chrome extension that blocks newsfeeds on all social media even one that pauses Netflix auto play feature. I’m that person who’s done many social media detox and I feel great after however in this modern world, especially in my generation, the way you are social and up to date on everything is through social media and the internet. But EVERYTHING on the internet is designed to make you addicted and keep coming back, even if you use it for education purpose like YouTube. I literally get nothing done. This app is heaven sent! I love that I can go on social media sites and YouTube ( through safari. don’t even have these apps on my phone) and not fall into my addictive pattern of doom scrolling. Thank you soooo much for creating this app.

using screenshots from the apps - not the browser - and then stating at the bottom of the description that it only works for browser is disingenuous
