SocialFocus: Hide Distractions

it has a daily feature also which an option to display the amount of time left, the most useful feature to me. however for what i deem the most useful feature you can get it for free on another app (for sure) or simply using apples own time limit features but applied to websites however there's just not many options, pretty disappointing compared to untrapped youtube. barely at all even flr the most popular sites. i think it's still an ok buy just legitimately dont expect many features. instagram and reddit (especially), are the two sites i frequent (and twitter slightly) have the most, which also have the most feature sbetween apps i actually use but even so its not too much. worth if you wanna control those.

I use the web version of YouTube and Reddit too much, and this deletes the home page of those so I can’t scroll anymore. I don’t even bother opening the sites anymore to get distracted. I can still use them of course to look up anything I need, and it takes away the recommendation section too.

With all these billion dollar companies fighting for out attention we must protect it at all costs. This app combats corporate greed by allowing me to use “social media” more as helpful search engines as opposed to time sinks. This app is doing gods work by allowing me cut out the junk and focus in on the needle movers in my life, stress-free. Middle class - 1, corporations - 0

This has seriously turned my life around thank you. It’s perfect at what it does and works amazing. I just have one little request if it’s possible. Could you add the option in the menu to grayscale the sites? It would make them even less distracting/tempting without completely eliminating them in case you need to use them

I was looking for something like this app. This app helped me tremendously with my lack of focus. There are so many distractions now days, and I use internet all the time, but with this app I maintain my focus and I do not get distracted. The price is great! I love this app!

This app no longer works on facebook.com!!! After the update about 2 weeks ago facebook now shows suggested posts and it’s cluttered with them!!! Also there’s a new popup from facebook saying that it’s “better in the app”🤣🤣

I have been saying for years how I wish I could use instragram or other apps, but block certain aspects like their stupid doom scroll algorithm… this app has saved my life. Wow!!! Now I can theoretically “delete” all my apps, but still see if anyone is contacting me, and I can use my phone as a tool again. What an amazing app.

I’m so grateful for Social Focus and its options. A note to anyone who might’ve had the same misconception I did — Social Focus’ features do not apply to the YouTube app. Now I access YouTube through a browser instead.

Social media feeds are engineered to be addictive. I try to quit, but I need to use YouTube and Facebook for work. This app makes it possible to use social media without getting distracted by it. Basically, it modifies the social media so that nothing is displayed unless you explicitly search for it.
