It took me a while to find this perfect solution. This is one application or better said extension that fixes all my problems with YouTube and Instagram, as a fellow developer shout out to this guy for saving my attention span.

Das Gleiche gilt für jede unterstützte Website.
Darüber hinaus bietet SocialFocus eine Reihe zusätzlicher Funktionen, darunter Starteinstellungen, Import/Export und mehr.
Benutzer, die die Entwicklung des Projekts unterstützen möchten, können zusätzlich die PRO-Version abonnieren. Die PRO-Version ermöglicht den Zugriff auf einige zusätzliche Funktionen, die in der Standardversion nicht verfügbar sind, wie z. B. die Konfiguration von Hotkeys, die Synchronisierung von Einstellungen und einige andere.

I don‘t agree to giving access to personal information like my Name, Phone Number or credit card information. The extension only works if I agree to give access to usage rights. I do want to protect my data. Can I get a refund please? I will not use it.

Ich hatte gehofft, dass man die Website Instagram auf seinem Homebildschirm als App speichern kann und die Extension bleibt. Das scheint allerdings nicht möglich zu sein. Das ist kein Fehler der Extension, sondern leider einfach von Apple. Die Extension an sich ist große Klasse. Im Webbrowser funktioniert alles einwandfrei und man hat mehr Optionen als man in Wahrheit benötigt. Vielen Dank an die Person, die diese Extension in den Appstore gebracht hat!

Been looking for something like this for years 🥲 I wanted to stop myself from getting distracted by social media feeds, without having to block the websites completely. For example, I wanted to be able to search for specific videos on YouTube (e.g. tutorials) without having to see the explore page or suggested videos. And I wanted to be able to view instagram messages, or links to specific posts, without getting distracted by my feed. This app allows these things easily! Would happily pay a small monthly fee. 🙏🏻

Wirklich Hammer! Das einzige was ich vermisse, ist auf Instagram das Ausblenden von “recommended for you”, nachdem man mit dem abonnierten Feed durch ist.

The App is definitely worth its money and does a great job, but please add the option to hide thumbnails on youtube, as they work as clickbait and successfully distract one.
YouTube is usable again!
I love that I can visit YouTube again and just watch the video I came for. And not be sucked into watching more videos than I wanted.

Macht alles was es verspricht und hilft sehr damit weiterhin Apps wie YouTube und Instagram zu benutzen ohne Short-Form Content zu konsumieren. Einen Stern - dafür dass es nur in der Web App funktioniert :(
Honestly? Life Changing
By far the best 2,99€ I ever spent. Regular updates making sure functionality is given, even if IG makes changes in their UI. Spending far less time on Explore/Reels now, while still enjoying my actual friend’s posts.
Amazing tool!
Does what it says! And does so very smoothly. I love this add-on and have probably saved a lot of time already thanks to it. I like that it is granular, and you can choose which aspects of the website you wanna see or don't see. Would love it if there would be such an app for smartphones as well.
