Solo is the ultimate practice App for mastering fretboard visualization, designed by world renowned guitarists Tom Quayle and David Beebee.
Four powerful fretboard trainers allow you to work intuitively on each aspect of the visualization process; learning note names, memorising interval shapes, outlining chord changes, and practicing scales.
Solo asks you to find intervallic functions against one root note, chord symbol or scale at a time, listens to the notes you play, and doesn’t move on until you’ve correctly found each note by its intervallic function in the specified order.

The Note Trainer is perfect for beginner and intermediate players getting to grips with note names on the neck - the foundation of solid fretboard knowledge.

INTERVAL TRAINER
The Interval Trainer will help players at all levels work on interval shapes with intervallic functions - the key to unlocking true freedom on the fretboard.

‣ The Interval Trainer will randomise your chosen intervals and ask you to find them against either a fixed or random root note.

The best
That’s the best app to learn fretboard knowledge. The price is nothing if you think about the time to achieve something in this way. Go and play !!! Edit: four stars because i want to create myself some chords progression to work some songs. Is it possible ?
Not accessible for blind people with voiceover
All the menus are accessible but it’s impossible to train because they are now feedback with my screen reader.
Limited functionality for a hefty price
This app claims to help you unlock the fretboard, but doesn’t do much (or anything) to make you learn new positions or patterns. Therefore I often end up using the same old basic shapes I already know over and over.
Great aid to learning
Had this app 1 day. Already very impressed with it. Easy to use. Covers beginner to very advanced levels. There’s enough here to keep you busy for life! Aid to learning the fretboard, intervals, scales, ear training and more. I’ll be using this app in every practice session from now on. Highly recommended for anyone serious about becoming a better guitarist.
Incredible
This is exactly what I need. I’ve been playing in many styles for more than 30 years and I wished I had that app long ago when I started to learn improvisation, harmony and jazz on the guitar and bass. Thank you so much!
