## Som. Description
Som is a simple, guided audio reset that helps you sleep better, reduce stress, recover faster, and show up with more focus and clarity — in just ten minutes.
No learning curve. No prior experience required. Just lie down, press play, and follow along. Som is built for real life: between meetings, before bed, or whenever you need a reset.

>> Benefits first. Insight optional.

Most meditation apps focus on insight or awareness and hope benefits follow. Som flips that model. It's designed to deliver immediate, tangible benefits first — using practical, science-backed techniques rooted in NSDR (Non-Sleep Deep Rest). If deeper insight or awareness emerges over time, great. If not, that’s fine too!

It works even if you’ve never meditated — and especially if you don’t want to.

>> What Som supports

• Better sleep and easier wind-down
• Reduced stress and anxiety
• Clearer focus and mental stamina
• Faster recovery between demanding days
• A calmer, more resilient baseline

>> Why Som?

• Guided, spoken sessions — no silence, no guesswork
• Frictionless by design — no techniques to master
• Adaptive practice — sessions adjust to your time and level
• Structured progression — an 18-session foundation plus ongoing practice
• Evidence-based — practical, science-backed methods, no fluff

Nothing to join. Nothing to adopt.
Use it. Keep what works.

>> Free to start

Som is free to download and get started. Optional premium features are available via subscription. Ten minutes is enough!

## Som. Reviews in United States

### ***** "Love this app"
This app is fantastic. One of the best mediation apps I’ve used. The interface is clean, the guided meditations are excellent, and the narrator’s voice is soothing (surprisingly hard to find). 5 stars.
-- JP Files, 2024-12-13

### **--- "Great NSDR but another subscription"
Only reason its not 5 stars is because you are paywalled at level 4 (~20 levels total). Id be much more willing to purchase the app or donate than pay for another subscription….
-- nak3dTruth, 2024-10-08

### ***** "Simple and practical"
This app is extremely simple to use—the sessions are organized into set of four designed to develop basic skills followed by more advanced interactive sessions. All sessions are guided.

I like the fact that interactive sessions can be customized and that each new session is created uniquely for the user based on previous sessions.

I’ve been using the app to improve my sleep and it has worked well for this purpose. I’ve also noticed that the app promotes equanimity which allows me to approach difficult situations with a clearer and calmer state of mind.
-- PS-Fun, 2024-09-13

### ***** "Simple and effective"
Love its simplicity. No non sense or upsells or tons of meditations I don’t want. Just simple nsdr in a simple straight fwd interface. Very responsive dev too.
-- Volcom789, 2024-09-08

### ****- "Really nice"
The meditations are really good, I haven’t found any other app that can really help me feel the same state of deep relaxation. Unfortunately I got a new phone and even with a subscription it has resulted in all my progress being lost and wants me to go through all the introductory lessons all over again 🥲

### ***** "Most practical and comprehensive Yoga Nidra (meditation) app out there"
It really excels in two places that makes it stand out:

1) Insanely practical and optimized for regular meditation — no nonsense, practical, guided sessions that don’t get stale. There is no overhead or confusion in picking different courses or content like in some of the other apps out there. Get started right away, and good content at increasing levels to keep you going.

2) Teaches the foundations of mediation/NSDR as you go through the sessions — not just buzzwords and trendy highlights, but you’re immersed and get a good understanding of how everything works and why you’re doing what you’re doing. More thorough and comprehensive than most apps out there.
-- Rusty Beanstalk, 2023-12-12

### ***** "Fantastic NSDR app!"
Wow! This app is incredible. Amazing NSDR and yoga nidra app. It has the perfect options for all levels. I absolutely love using this app during the day for yoga nidra as well as when I’m going to sleep. Highly recommend this app to anyone interested in sleep, relaxation, and/or yoga nidra.
