Song Beatsは、好きな曲にあわせて、いつどのドラムを叩けばよいかを視覚的に教えてくれ、ドラム演奏をサポートするiPhone向けアプリケーションです。
音源を内蔵しているため、簡単にドラム用カラオケも作れるので、あなたのドラム演奏を快適にサポートします。
内蔵する10曲および10パターンのデモ曲や5種類の練習曲、更にiTunesのファイル共有機能を使って「音楽データショップ」で購入した楽曲もお楽しみいただけます。

*プレーヤー画面
- タイミングガイド機能 : どのドラムをいつ叩けばよいのか、光の輪が簡単に教えてくれます。光の輪がドラムの縁と重なったときがドラムを叩くタイミングです。お好みの曲で、視覚的にドラム演奏を学べます。

- [NEW]スクロール表示 : どのドラムをいつ叩けばよいのか、時系列に沿って確認できます。画面の右から左に、タイミングを示すバーが流れます。

- [NEW]スキルテスト機能 : ドラム演奏を評価し、ドラム別に3段階で判定します。

- [NEW]ヤマハ電子ドラム・DTXシリーズへ接続可能（スキルテスト機能や、楽器側の音源での曲データ再生が可能。）
　※楽器との接続には、 i-UX1が必要です。対応楽器はヤマハウェブサイト上でご確認ください。iPhone5, iPod touch(第5世代) や iPad mini をご利用の場合には、Apple社のLightning - 30ピンアダプタをご利用ください。 

- ドラムミュート機能 : パッド個別に再生をオンオフして、聴きたいドラムパートの音のみを再生させ、練習や演奏時に最適な伴奏を奏でることが出来ます。

- テンポ変更機能 : どの曲でも、ご自身のレベルに合わせて曲のテンポを変えることが出来ます。 

- A-Bリピート機能 : ループポイントを設定して、曲中の難しいビートも繰り返し練習出来ます。

- 伴奏カスタマイズ機能 : 一緒に演奏したい楽器の音を選んでミックスすれば、あなたにとって理想的なバンドとセッション出来ます。メロディとベース音のパートのみ再生させて、シンプルな伴奏と共に練習することも出来ます。

- アプリダウンロード後すぐに、内蔵曲10曲と10種類のパターン練習、5種類のステップレッスンをお楽しみいただけます。内蔵曲には実際の演奏シーンを分かりやすく収めたビデオも用意されています!

- iTunes のファイル共有機能を使うことで、「音楽データショップ」で購入したMIDIデータの読み込みが可能です。

PCで楽曲のスタンダードミディファイル（SMF）を作成して、PCのiTunesからiPhoneのSongBeatsへ転送して使っています。クラッシュシンバルのnote番号を受け取ったときに、SongBeats上の描画ではフロアタム直近のシンバルが点灯してしまうことが残念です。クラッシュは左右対称で点灯してほしいのですが・・・。

当方、始めて半年ぐらいですが、なかなか次のレベルに進むことが出来ず練習法に四苦八苦してました。
そこで見つけたのがこれ！！
電子ドラムは持ってませんが、バスドラの上にiPhoneを固定してやってみました。
最初は画面に慣れるのも少し時間がかかりましたが、数日で慣れ、今はすごく楽しく練習しております。
難を言えば、やはり曲数の少なさですね〜
なんでこの曲？ってのもありました。
個人的には名曲の宝庫であるBUCK-TICKを加えてほしいですね。
