SongBook Chordpro

I think this is easily the best app for holding tunes (just chords), songs (words and chords) and pdf files. It’s excellent!

Don’t know what I’d do without songbook it really is an amazing app. Superb app.

Have been using the app for some years and just can’t find anything better. It has all the features you need for solo artists with backing tracks. If the app could import Word files rather than text and link to other types of audio file (wave, etc) then it would be approaching perfection. Well done to the developers and thanks.

I’ve used both the iOS app and Mac version for years. I now have a huge back catalogue of hundreds of songs I play on the guitar and piano. Support for the apps is also fantastic. I’ve asked quite a few questions and have always received a highly informative responses.

I have been using this app for around 5 years now and will continue to use it . Easy to use and the convert to chord pro means you can import from anywhere and it sorts all the chords etc out for you !

This is a good app however over the last few months I have ‘lost’ hundreds of songs including more importantly my own and the customer service person I dealt with was terrible. The songs that were on the app just disappeared over night. At one time 150 just vanished. Very unhappy.

Lacks compatibility of file naming with the desktop app. For example .cpm or .cho not recognised. Doesn’t import category structure either. Too much manual labour needed for obvious stuff.

This update doesn’t work for me on my iPhone or iPad in playlists and I would like to revert back to the previous version!!!!!! After writing this review the Note option in Playlists now appears to be functioning correctly allowing for the creation of a note or several without corrupting the ChordPro format of the song as it had been doing. Thank you.

App was good until it just deleted all my songs that had taken me over 2 weeks to up load. Very very disappointed. I’m hoping that there’s a way of restoring my songs. Really annoyed and upset is putting it mildly.
