SongCapsule (previously called Next) is an app to rediscover your music library. It’s available on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac with a single purchase.
Using SongCapsule is super easy: all you need to do is connect the app to your music library — it supports Apple Music, iTunes Match, or local synced songs in your device. SongCapsule will locally scan your songs and automatically create mixes and playlists for you based on your favorite artists, genres, and even decades.
With Magic DJ, you can create mixes of artists and genres with different algorithms, like playing more of your top songs or rediscovering hidden gems in your music library. It’s like a shuffle mode — but more intelligent and tailored just for you.
SongCapsule will learn and send a #tbt notification every week to remember you of songs you once loved, but haven’t played for a while. There’s also a special playlist and widget with your forgotten songs.

Tolle App!
Super App, aber Apple-Watch-Support wäre noch sehr schön!
What Shuffle should always have been
Next works better than any of the other ~50 music player apps I’ve used on iOS — including Apple’s own Music app! Next is not a full replacement for the default Music app, but improves on all the shuffle-related use cases. Considering the scope of this app being “Smart” playlists, it is perfectly executed and feature-complete. I’m glad that the devs exercised some restraint and didn’t add any cruft. Next’s design also showcases the developers’ understanding of iOS design language. They make it feel right at home on iPhone.

Von der App habe ich mir deutlich mehr versprochen. Preisleistung stimmt nicht überein, da ist nur wenn Funktionumfang gibt.
Zu wenig für den Preis
Naja 15 Playlist für 5,49 Euro ist ein bisschen wenig. Hatte nach dem Lesen mehr erwartet. Auch ist eine Playlist der letzten 25 hinzugefügten Songs nicht wirklich intelligent wenn diese einfach aus zwei hinzugefügten letzten Alben stammen... Insofern vielleicht 1,49 Euro aber sicherlich keine 5,49 Euro wert. Frage mich wie man auf solch hohe Preise bei solch einer einfachen App kommt.
