The Sonic Boom app is designed to inspire and support DAILY health-habit improvement. It’s a supplement to the Sonic Boom web application, offering on-the-go access to social-recognition tools, at-a-glance views of healthy activities and stats, and ample opportunities to hold yourself (and others) accountable to healthier behaviors. Most importantly, the app is meant to be lighthearted, fun, and socially charged – so go ahead and download it and let’s get to playing! We'll be adding more of your favorite features (like Contests and Trackers) soon. In the meantime, have fun with these on-the-go activities: - Catch people bein’ healthy on the fly (with photos!) - Catch people bein’ UNHEALTHY with our fun new game, “Busted!” - Post “Healthy Selfies” when you’re feeling extra accomplished (or Bust yourself when you slip up … then get back on track!) - Add photos of yourself (and others!) doing Challenges-of-the-Day - Log your Rewards activities and track your progress toward incentives/prizes - Like and comment on photos with friends, view your activity stats and points earnings, and more! Want some more info on each of the app’s main programs? Here you go! CHALLENGE-OF-THE-DAY: Allows you to complete fun, simple health challenges – at work and at home – and share photos across your organization. You’ll earn points for completing, rating, commenting, and sharing photos on each of these energized health challenges. ACTIVITY STATS: Allows you to track your validated physical activity by linking a wearable device to your Sonic Boom profile. If you have a Striiv device (including the Boomerang), Apple Health App, Apple Watch, Fitbit, Jawbone, Garmin, or other popular fitness device or app, you can sync it to your Sonic Boom profile and view your stats within the app – including personal bests and daily averages. CAUGHT YA BEIN' HEALTHY: Allows you to "catch" other members practicing healthy habits, and snap a photo in the moment to prove it. You can also post "Healthy Selfies," or share photos of your healthy meals. Caught Ya is designed to provide extra social support and culture improvement. Caught Ya recipients can choose to share their photos publicly to receive recognition and support from others (or choose to keep them private if sharing is not desired). BUSTED: Similar to Caught Ya, our new “Busted” game allows you to catch other members doing something...ahem...NOT so healthy. The recipient can share the temporary setback publicly, acknowledging that it’s okay to “slip up” or indulge every now and then (as long as we make up for it later!). Self-busting is also encouraged to hold yourself accountable to healthier behaviors! REWARDS: In addition to feeling healthier and happier, you may also be eligible to earn some cool rewards for engaging in healthy activities (or for achieving certain milestones within the program). And you can track ‘em all in the Sonic Boom app! You can quickly view your at-a-glance progress on the main Rewards page, click into each category to view additional details and instructions, and even log your activities and upload proof if required. ## Sonic Boom Wellness Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/29/e8/d6/29e8d67e-f339-554a-d978-cac6bb8b49c7/Screenshot_2024-10-22_at_2.09.05.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/73/07/e1/7307e14b-a6eb-e88e-f1b2-589e842199db/Screenshot_2024-10-22_at_2.26.23.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/90/fe/b1/90feb11e-2b96-54f6-886d-c015f3025de6/Screenshot_2024-10-22_at_2.47.06.png/1242x2688.png) ## Sonic Boom Wellness Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 25 (37%) - 4 stars: 1 (1%) - 3 stars: 4 (6%) - 2 stars: 7 (10%) - 1 stars: 30 (45%) ## Sonic Boom Wellness Reviews in United States ### *---- "Needs improvement for trackers" I can’t edit/remove my old tracker. Support says click gear associated with tracker, there is no gear icon with tracker. Tried to add my new Oura Ring to override my old Apple Watch, but Oura isn’t supported yet, so that’s a bust too. -- kkschommer, 2024-08-05 ### **--- "Is this really needed?" I have a reliable Apple Watch and IPhone. I wear a Garmin watch when I train. All that is fine and good. For some reason half the time, I can’t bring up my previous day’s stats. (Though it’s obvious in the Apple Watch ap what I do daily.) I don’t see where this app, extra data collection, not always current or quantitative, is needed with the Sonic Boom program. -- Rhonlynn, 2024-05-02 ### *---- "App requires you open to open it daily if you want credit" You have to open the app daily to get your data to show up on the leaderboards. Which is interesting because the app seems to retroactively grab and apply your data to your personal charts, just not the leaderboards. So it seems this is an issue with how this was built or potential a product direction issue. Maybe it’s an intentional decision to drive up DAU’s. At the end of the day is just creates a pretty poor use experience if you don’t build a habit of opening the app everyday. Which I would bet contributes to employee churn which then eventually leads to Organization (client) churn. -- Big dawggy, 2024-04-02 ### *---- "Way too much messing around" My company moved to this from Virgin Pulse and it’s awful. You get way less rewards from having a fitness tracker synced and performing actual exercise than you from checking boxes, putting in dates etc. I’d take Virgin Pulse back in a heartbeat, I can’t even be bothered jumping through the hoops this app requires. -- Skinkusa, 2024-01-21 ### *---- "Poorly Designed and Non-Functional" Apple watch and Fitbit both have built in capabilities better than this app. It’s only purpose is to sync health data back to employers and it can’t even do that right. Junk app that doesn’t belong on the app store. -- MagicStick560, 2023-12-24 ### *---- "Terrible" My Job uses this and it’s absolutely horrible. Doesn’t track or sync like it’s suppose to. We miss contest and other activities. Bring back Virgin -- NancyBh ansmwnmma, 2023-06-15 ### ***** "So fun!" Love this app! Keeps me motivated to hit my steps every day and is a great way to connect with my coworkers. Really enjoy it and how dedicated they are to constant improvements. -- MitchALevin, 2023-03-13 ### *---- "Doesn’t sync" Had an old Fitbit Versa worked great. Got a new Apple Watch now it doesn’t sync reliably. Has made me not interested in participating in any SB things my company wants to promote. -- RobboT808, 2022-11-08 ### *---- "Glitchy" The new update does not allow the Sonic boom app to get any data from Apple health. Did you guys stop supporting iOS devices? What was the point of the update? -- Rodrigue Doss., 2022-11-06 ### **--- "SonicCrap" Monthly it seems like it had issues with syncing. And monthly I email them. I remove the app add it back which works but then it works for a few weeks and once again same issue. And I am using a Fitbit. Yesterday I racked up 23k steps, burn guess what . SB gave me credit for 11k. I rebooted still sane mess. Resynced FitBit and still same. I have recommended our company look at other options -- vt2075, 2022-04-24 [View all Sonic Boom Wellness reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Sonic Boom Wellness Discovered Keywords -
