Dropped an AirPod 4 in the sink while shaving, it went quiet, downloaded this app and now it’s working great. Honestly both AirPods are working great now, better than before.
It worked great for me!

Drains battery, runs in background
Just checked battery report and this app runs nonstop in the background with noticeable power drain. It was paused and not playing a tone. Not sure what it was doing to consume so much power. Liked it otherwise, but had to uninstall. (iOS 17 / iPhone 15 Pro)
