◆◆◆ ein neues intuitives und elegantes Benutzerinterface ◆◆◆ 
SonoPhone wurde geschrieben, um die aktuellen iOS Design Prinzipien zu unterstützen: 
- Tippe oder ziehe das Gerät am oberen Rand um zur Geräteauswahl zu kommen. Für jedes Sonos-Box kannst du hier direkt die Lautstärke verstellen. Nach Sprung zur Gruppenverwaltung, kann man mit einem einfachen Drag+Drop Interface die Zuordnungen schnell verändern.
- Tippe oder ziehe die Titelinformation nach oben und du kommst zum Bildschirm mit dem großen Cover
- Ziehe das Hauptmenü nach links bzw. rechts um direkt zur Wiedergabeliste, bzw. einer Liste mit den wichtigsten Menüpunkten zu kommen.
- Popups für Lautstärke und Songposition: das Raten wie laut und an welcher Position deines Lieblingssongs du bist hat nun ein Ende. 

◆◆◆ weniger Klicks für übliche Aufgaben ◆◆◆ 
SonoPhone versucht die üblichen Aufgaben so zu optimieren, dass du weniger Klicks benötigst, um zum Ziel zu kommen. Dadurch kannst du viel flüssiger durch die App navigieren. 

- "Touch To Play": hast du keine Lust mehr immer gefragt zu werden was du tun möchtest wenn du Album or Titel antippst? Als Standard startet SonoPhone einfach den Song. Mit einem langen Klick hast du immer noch Zugriff auf alle Optionen - darüber hinaus kann der Standard geändert werden. Du möchtest schnell eine Playliste zusammenstellen: dann stell die Option doch auf "immer am Ende hinzufügen" und los geht's. 

- Tippe auf das Albumcover - schon startet das ganze Album 

- Aggregierte Suchergebnisse: Suchergebnisse werden auf einer Seite zusammengefasst - du musst nicht mehr zwischen den Kategorien hin- und herwechseln. 

- Egal wo du gerade bist: wenn das Menü nach rechts geschoben wird, zeigt die App Direktsprünge zu den Menüs von Alben, Interpreten, Radio oder Musikdiensten. 

- Du kannst die Lautstärke jedes Gerätes direkt in der Player-Auswahl ändern. Ein Wechseln zum Player ist nicht mehr nötig. 

◆◆◆ S1 und S2 Geräte in einer App ◆◆◆ 
- wenn du noch alte S1 Geräte besitzt, ist die Zeit vorbei, dass du immer Apps wechseln musst. Wir zeigen einfach alle vorhandenen Player im Netzwerk in einer Liste an. (Gruppierung geht leider nicht, das wird von Sonos verhindert)

◆◆◆ Einschränkungen ◆◆◆ 

- alle Musikdienste bis auf YouTube Music werden unterstützt
- Kein Abspielen der auf dem iPhone abgespeicherten Musik. 
- Kein Unterstützung administrativer Funktionen (ergänzen/entfernen von neuen Player, Musikdiensten). Die offizielle App wird hierfür benötigt, SonoPad erkennt die neuen Einstellung darauf automatisch.
- Keine Optionen für das Einstellen von Alarm oder Schlaf-Timer.
- Keine Unterstützung für das abgekündigte WD100 Dock

i looked for an app where i can use both S1 and S2 devices, and this was the praised solution. What they don’t tell you is that it doesn’t work, it merely shows both S1 and S2 devices but you can not sync them. It’s like 2 apps in one and it has a veeeery rudimentary old looking ui. Not pollished at all. If only at least it was working.

Das auf dem iPhone abgespeichert Musik möglich ist wird angepriesen , Ausnahme auf dem ipad nicht, doch das funktioniert nicht. Auf Support Anfrage zu diesem Thema keine Antwort. Die restlichen Funktionen gibt es kostenlos bei der Original Sonosapp. Kurz Geld ist futsch Gegegenleistung null. App nicht empfehlenswert.
