Sonos

This has gone on long enough. The app has made our expensive Sonos systems practically useless. Months and months of failed updates, one worse than the other. It’s time we use social media to bring attention to the lack of understanding of their own product, and the inept support to make corrections. Boycott and discourage the purchase of any more Sonos products. Please use Facebook, X, and any other forums to discuss the problems and boycott Sonos products. Next step is to file a class action lawsuit.

Totally unusable. Ever since the app was overhauled in May nothing works. Volume uncontrollable, playlist uncontrollable, speaker selection uncontrollable and zero fixes by Sonos.

This is the glitchiest system I have ever encountered. Invested in buying these speakers thought out the last 5 years and now they barely work. I am extremely upset and disappointed. Do not buy

The app crashes at launch since the last update. Such premium quality… can’t even use my speakers.

Sonos speakers have great sound, and they used to network beautifully. Not so much since the app update. Grouping speakers never works, and the sound drops out of some speakers periodically requiring them to be restarted multiple times in a day even. They have a lot to fix to restore their previous reputation for both good sound and networking ability.

Every time I open the app it wants to set up new system, because it can’t find an existing system. Every time.

It’s junk, my very expensive stereo barely plays anymore. Never buying another Sonos product because of this. One update ruined my $5k stereo system and they can’t fix it. Sonos is easy, but I’ll run wires for my next stereo system. This app update has essentially bricked my entire system.

It’s clear Sonos are the best sounding hands down. But the app is really bad. As a long time user it’s truly disappointing.

if you can avoid updating - do so. this version is NOT intuitive, moved the highest traffic buttons and features to hidden spaces. lame - stay with the old version
