After last updating, the application cannot be launched
After failing several attempts to add my Sonos to account I can’t see use of the app anymore. The process will lead you to add sonos and ends with “no products find” even if the process ended successfully. Doesn’t work for few months now. Even after factory reset of the roam.
I was happy Sonos customer and recommending Sonos to my friends. But since the app is reworked there are always too many issues. And somehow Sonos managed to make it even worse: my Sonos Roam stopped working during bluetooth playback and didn't reconnect even after restart of my phone and restart of Sonos Roam. I tried hardreset, after pairing it notified my about firmware update, and then it told me it failed to link Roam to my account. There is nothing to do, as I'm not able to connect to the speaker and after another hardreset it's the same issue.
Recent redesign makes it a bit weird. Most of the UI and animations do not have the same feeling as the rest of the iOS. App drains the battery while running on background!
I understand that Sonos needed to rework the app in order to support new product, but they did it in a way that broke lot of features for existing products. When finaly they "fixed" True play, it's buggy and requires retuning again and again. I set up speakers in office and this app always change the room to living room. If Sonos would remove the functionality to have a room name it will be much better then having wrong name. Sometimes when I want to set up TV audio, the app won't show the TV setting, just shows "no music" screen. 6 months ago it was a great app. Since then, there are always issues and different bugs (Sonos fixes something and breaks something else), and I see no improvements from the version 6 months ago.
In last year all updates goes against end-user comfort. App design is one big mess now. Fact that bugs like alarm is missing then is set to gmt instead local time without chance to be set manually takes a years to be fixed? Guys come on…
After the update, the application is unreliable and often unresponsive :( You must be joking. You should refund the money for this. Go to hell
While the app looks good, the new updated app literally stripped away previously perfectly good features (where is the universal volume slider to control all speakers at once?!) and the UX is just atrocious—clicking a song thumbnail does absolutely nothing, getting from a song to its parent album or artist is a journey… and not in a good way. Sonos is a pretty good hardware company and the sound is second to none, but their software S U C K S.

This app is a disgrace to all your customers! If I had the chance I’d slap the management inface one by one and then again. Invested thousands pf € in pretry good HW and at the end have it close to unusable by it SW! Shame on you!
