So bad! I bought 3 x Era 100s and one Era 300 and have had constant issues. Speakers constantly drop out, the app absolutely sucks even if it does occasionally work. But basically now the speakers have completely stopped working. Have done three full resets and now onto the fourth. Stay away from Sonos.

From a near flawless app to something that requires a reconnect (reinstall) every time I want to use it, Sonos is so disappointing. 
I bought a second roam speaker so I could enjoy stereo music. Since having the second roam I have had nothing but trouble staying connected on Wifi. Notices advising can’t find or speaker needs attention. Resolved until I disconnects  and then the same issue start again. Deferring plans for a Sonos system for the TV.

The sales pitch versus the reality is vastly different, and unfortunately I’m really disappointed.

What’s sold as a seamless, intuitive listening experience has turned into ongoing frustration. I genuinely spend more time trying to fix the system than actually enjoying music. Getting all four speakers to work together consistently is incredibly difficult, and even after rebooting the app and logging back in, it still defaults to an old email address.

The app experience is not intuitive at all. Simple tasks feel unnecessarily complicated, and troubleshooting has become a regular occurrence rather than an exception.

If I had known how unreliable and time-consuming this setup would be, I honestly wouldn’t have invested. It’s disappointing because the sound quality is good — but that’s outweighed by the constant technical issues and lack of a truly seamless experience.

I've had enough problems with the speakers over the years, requiring multiple hours of troubleshooting. It's essentially too much hassle. It looks good and sounds fine when it works -- which is most of the time. I mostly use AirPlay. If I were to start over then I would probably choose something else which is simpler and just works all of the time. Overall though based on my experience over a few years, I generally don't feel that I can trust Sonos speakers to work properly without relying on third party apps.

Ever since Sonos HQ started messing with the app it has been awful. Some days it works fine, but most days it will not work at all. I am a big music fan and prior to all these ONGOING issues I would have recommended Sonos to anyone. Not anymore though. What was once my favourite piece of technology in my house is now my least favourite. Do better Sonos.

If you’re looking for a great sound system that lets you use it around 50% of the time, then buy Sonos. They’re definitely the speakers for you. Appalling responsiveness and will pick and choose on when it decides to work. I’m now at a point where I am having to hard reset my speakers ever 2 weeks just to be able to use them via Airplay. Don’t even get me started on how terrible the app is. I use YouTube music and it simply won’t integrate with my account despite having it set up in there.
