Use the SOS app to identify and clean up illegal dump locations on public land. Geo tag and photograph abandoned vehicles, dump sites, etc. and update our real-time trash map. Scout out these marked locations for clean up projects and mark them as cleaned up when you're done. How it works: - Download the app and Sign-In with Apple - Open the SOS app while using public lands - If you see dumped debris, select the large "+" button in the middle of the screen, provide a description of what it is and take a few photos - You will see the trash icon appear within the app - If you can clean up a trash location, do so and tap the 'Clean Up' to provide some new photos and describe what you did ## SonsOfSmokey Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/c6/fa/bc/c6fabc87-f896-7abf-98c1-dcf233d485e0/ea3897f9-8592-4c6f-899f-1b6929da7eb9_IMG_0007.PNG/1242x2208.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/74/9b/3d/749b3d0f-73b0-a20a-86ec-b0dce16ca58d/c2c55a35-0f21-4f07-880e-32f256d070b4_IMG_0008.PNG/1242x2208.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/26/08/f8/2608f8fd-df83-780b-968e-b5e7568955cc/761ff557-c813-467a-8e80-be543a029811_IMG_0009.PNG/1242x2208.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/b5/4a/bf/b54abfcf-3cc2-7c52-7de9-2e804923fda9/4ca021dd-fa79-48da-8d12-246add8e3f28_IMG_0010.PNG/1242x2208.png) ## SonsOfSmokey Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 10 (63%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 2 (13%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 4 (25%) ## SonsOfSmokey Reviews in United States ### ***-- "Needs more details" I love this idea, but agree with the other review that gps coordinates need to be added. Also, it would be nice to be able to coordinate or message other people on here to ask additional questions or coordinate pick up. -- TexasBirder, 2024-02-09 ### *---- "Not able to create account" It’s not sending me a code to create an account. -- B_Diddy74, 2023-10-07 ### *---- "Can’t create a new account" Both my husband and I have downloaded this app and are trying to create new accounts, but the app will not send either one of us the necessary 4-digit code. If we click on “resend code“ a pop up message that reads “token sent successfully” or something similar appears, but we never get a code. We have been trying repeatedly for over a week but it never works. I have sent an email via their website to try and alert them that this is happening but I haven’t received any response. -- Aubrey_25_99, 2023-10-05 ### ***** "Brilliant concept" This app, if widely deployed and used, will do so much good for our public lands. While I like the simplicity, some additional functionality would be welcomed and helpful. Latitude and longitude should be displayed in both decimal and minute formats so that coordinates can be entered into other mapping software - this would be very helpful to those of us who might want to make an adventure out of going to retrieve trash. -- VolKayaker, 2023-07-26 ### ***** "Stampin’ out Litter" awesome. good steps. -- Ezra Bridgers, 2023-07-13 ### ***** "Meaningful!" I haven’t used it yet but I’ve got a truck and I’ll use it for this! I recommend to incorporate into the app biometric authentication when reporting trash. I think this app could be a spambots paradise if an algorithm is made to report anything that’s not trash. A phone number by itself probably isn’t enough to keep the app secure for it's genuine use. -- Bourne89, 2023-01-26 ### ***** "Fight Litterbugs!!" This is a very useful app for helping fight litter! However I would like to see an option to copy/paste coordinates from SoS posts into a navigation app. ABG! -- Bob Keeton, 2022-10-15 [View all SonsOfSmokey reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Apps Similar to SonsOfSmokey -
