This application allows anytime, anywhere smartphone access to the Creators' Cloud, a platform that provides powerful support for creators from shooting to production with Sony's camera technology and cloud AI. By connecting this application to your camera, you can easily operate convenient functions such as photo and video transfer from your smartphone.

■ Anytime access to Creators' Cloud
Experience the various functions offered by Creators' Cloud, including file storage and management in cloud storage, a wide range of services and applications including video editing services using cloud AI, and access to articles and content that will serve as a source of inspiration. You can experience a variety of functions provided by Creators' Cloud.

■ Extend the shooting experience and manage shooting files more easily
You can transfer and save photos and videos you have already taken, and use your smartphone as a remote control for the camera for remote shooting. In addition, the smartphone can be used to check the camera's battery and media information, set the date, time, and camera name, and easily update the camera's software.

- Easy transfer of photos and videos taken anytime, anywhere
Photos and videos taken can be transferred to cloud storage or a smartphone for centralized management. Data transfer can be performed while shooting or while the camera is turned off or charging. The camera also supports a variety of user shooting styles, such as transferring only those photos and videos that have been rated or marked as shots in advance.

- Operate the camera from your smartphone
By connecting the camera to a smartphone, the smartphone can be used as a remote control for the camera. This allows you to take pictures from a distance, such as group photos, or take pictures of night scenes without causing vibrations to the camera. In addition, you can easily check the camera's battery and media information, and set the date, time, and camera name from your smartphone.

- Save camera settings and reflect changes

Let me say that for what its needed this app is pretty much sufficient. I also understand different Sony products as well as smart phones have different ranges, but I wish camera controls did not disconnect so quickly due to range and instead left the control window open so that settings can be adjusted before reconnecting.

App demands unlimited access to all my photos just to write to the library. Limited access should be enough. This is a security risk and sloppy app design. The app is unusable as it constantly asks for full access permissions. Really disappointed in Sony.

Right from the install there were already read flags. An alarming amount of typos on the most basic of words. Not only that, the website states it supports the A7RIVA. Which is clearly false since it’s not listed on the app. That was enough for to just trash the app. I suggest you remove it or don’t download it all.

Works great. I mostly use the app to transfer photos quickly when I’m on location and it does a great job. The ability to view my camera feed is also a big plus when I’m doing studio work, no need for a bulky secondary monitor.

It’s great let me to see the live view and let me adjust all settings on my phone but sometimes I can touch my screen when I need to touch the shoot button…can you give us a function let as set the volume button to shoot ? Thank you

### *---- "3.0 firmware update broke my A7SIII Bluetooth/wifi capabilities"
So THEY break my camera with a software issue, THEN tell me it’s a hardware problem and have to pay around $800 to fix it. After further research online I learned Sony (during the chip shortage) actually switched the chips they were using and it wasn’t advertised AT ALL. Now this wouldn’t be an issue, IF THE CHIPS DIDNT HAVE AN ISSUE 🤦‍♂️

Sony is so incompetent when it comes to apps. From the digital images app to this, it does not work for professionals with multiple cameras. It literally never works right when I need it to work in a professional setting. If you only have one camera, sure… but multiple… not a chance. You’re spending more time trying to connect than shooting.

Tried to connect my a7rv for about an hour! No LUCK. It says connected via Bluetooth and show my camera battery % and number of shots left .. but when I want to control my camera or download photos, it ask for few WiFi accesses and then after it will spin for sometime and then it cannot connect to camera… it is as bad as Sony’s old app or may be more!

The app is great. It does everything it’s supposed to do, but you have to tap arrows to navigate between photos in cloud storage. It’s 2024. Please update the UI to allow a swipe so that my thumb doesn’t cover 10% of the photo and so I don’t need to see those horrible arrows.

This app doesnt want to connect or when it does connect it disconnects. I have recently gotten a sony camera and i also own canon cameras. This app is absolutely horrible and thats not an understatement. The canon connect app has its flaws but it works, i will never complain about the canon app ever again. Please save your self the headache and purchase a card reader.

I like my personal pictures geo tagged with gps to help organize them.  If the app is paired with the camera and running the camera gps tags the photo pretty much as soon as it boots from being off.

Remote shooting from the phone is slow.

I really do not understand… at first I was happy with it… but now it logged me out, asking me to sign in again to update my camera. Fine. I tried once, never received the email… I tried again, received the email 15 minutes later…. I tried AGAIN, told me it can’t connect to the server. I tried AGAIN and kept telling me that it can’t connect to the server. 
I tried the website on my computer and signed in perfectly fine. What is wrong with this app?! No clue. I tried contacting Sony but they can’t help with the Creator’s App. So really, what do I do now? I can’t connect to this stupid app for 0 reasons…

I’m starting this off with I’m in a wheelchair. I have dexterity issues with my hands. Using this App with my Sony A7RV has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It makes operating my camera remotely so easy. My son has now started photographing with me and having the ability to control the cameras settings remotely while he’s taking the pics candidly has been incredible for us. I’m able to watch in real time exactly what he’s focusing on and what the lighting looks like so I can make changes while he’s continuing to shoot. So pleased with this App.
