Noise cancelling seems much worse since update yesterday after downloading this app. Not sure why, but lots more ambient noise coming through. The help section of the app doesn’t work either. Brings me to a blank page. Using my AirPods now for noise cancelling since they’re better after the last Sony update.

First time I used the app when I got the headphones on Dec 25 this year, they worked absolutely fine with the app and the headphones still work perfect. The issue is with the app. That one time the app worked great but now whenever I go into it it asks for me to connect the headphones even though they already are connected and I’m listening to music through them right at that moment. I always have bluetooth turned on and never connect my headphones with anything other than my phone. Even when I disconnect my headphones and go into the app to reconnect it, it reconnects but the app still doesn’t register the connection.

I own Sony earbuds and headphones and I’ve had no issues with this app

Neat idea but the damn thing keeps enabling speak-to-chat which is infuriating. Sony, get better. Great headphones but terrible freaking software.

I don’t know what happened, but ever since the Sony head phones switched to this app or rebrand what ever it is they’re borderline unusable. 1. Songs pausing for absolutely no reason usually within first 10 seconds, 2. autoplay does not work the songs freeze now 3. At the end of the song usually 75% the song pauses and rewinds for no reason. about to sell these headphones.

Really bad app… why is the interface so difficult just to reach equalizer? The layout is terrible cmon Sony the old one was better so a step back in the app.

I love my XM4’s! I’ve had them for at least 2 years now. They sound great, NC works pretty well, in fact, I use them all the time when mowing the lawn or using power tools. However, what annoys me is that … the “Speak to Chat” keeps switching from OFF (which I manual set), to ON. There is NEVER a situation where I want my music to stop when I talk. Look, I talk to myself, all the time! That’s how I figure stuff out. Sony, please tell your developers to allow me to permanently set this to OFF.

Sometimes my computer is in sleep mode in my backpack but my headphones remain connected to it as priority device, not allowing me to listen to music on the go. The previous version of the app allowed to disconnect my computer temporarily so my phone gained priority and I could listen to music on the go. New version of app (Sound Connect) does not allow me to disconnect from my computer (or makes it too complicated) and now I cannot listen to music altogether as I commute.
