I am fan of Bose700 which I love. I have bean listen Sony xm4 few times in shop and I have bean disappointed with sound quality. I could not believe hi-fi magazine give it 5stars. So I have bought them new for the test and I have been positive surprised with the sound quality. Spotify with Sony sound enhancement (forget the name) sound very good. Qobuz is my favourite and it’s hires is outstanding (nothing can beat it) I know that all is sound perfect until you hear something better :) but I am satisfied and I have no reason to spend more money. English is not my primary language so forgive me for any mistakes .

Terrible app

“Compatible with iPhone” - really?

ZICOMBA on

Ireland

Great earbuds for listening to podcasts, playback music and other hands free stuff. One issue is the “playback controls” will not accept or end a phone call on the iPhone 14 Pro at least. So to say they are compatible with iPhone and hands free is misleading. “Play/Pause” just launches the Apple Music app! Having to accept call on iPhone means also subsequently having to select earbuds from speaker menu. Simple fix is to include compatible functions.

Could be better

My app will just disconnect from my headphones for no reason, I will then have to power off the headset to get it to connect again. I could be listening to Spotify no issues, then open the app to check something and it has disconnected, even closing the app does not work. Have to recycle the headphones, very annoying. Other than that, it’s a good app.

App broken, headphones can’t connect

riebfodbeifhebfi on

Tried to connect my brand new headphones, the app got stuck in a loop trying to recognise them. Utterly useless piece of software that shouldn’t exist. Wouldn’t have bought the headphones if I’d known.

Dreadful app. Interferes with multiple Bluetooth con

Absolutely dreadful app, won’t connect to two different Sony headphones. Just let them connect via Bluetooth and be done with it. It needs to be deleted and re-installed when I want to connect a different set of Sony headphones. Won’t connect otherwise. Awful application.

The newest update killed my WF-1000XM4 Battery life lasts 10 mins after update, sent it to warranty and got the entire unit replaced. DO NOT LET IT UPDATE YOUR FIRMWARE
