Sony | Sound Connect

The app won’t allow me to sign in. All it says is that my email or password is incorrect, however when I use the SAME email and the SAME password on another device to log into my Sony account on the web, it works flawlessly. I don’t understand why it does that on the app?

I love the headphones and they are so great at noise cancelling and the adaptive cancel is so smart- however I bought these just to use when sleeping. So what I would like is a setting where I can ask the headphones not to make any noise after a certain time- such as warning me of low battery, or saying that it disconnected from any devices- as it wakes me up and I wouldn’t notice if the noise cancel stopped anyway. That would make these perfect!

Recently there is an update on the app, it’s unable to connect with my sony headphone. My headphone does appear in the list of device it can be connected but once I select it, the app either throws an error message saying “turn on the device” or put in a loop - find a device to connect, select the device, then back to find a device step again. I regret buying the device now since I cant even connect the device to the phone without this app.

Generally a wish wash of options and rabbit holes and hard to find my way around. Literally can’t find a feature I stumbled across a week ago

Pity about the software. Sometimes the sound just cuts out for no reason and the only way to get it back is to stop this app running. Very sad.

I like to sing along to my music but the speak to chat feature means that when I do, the music pauses. This is an easy fix in the settings as you can turn it off. But for some reason it keeps turning back on after a week or so after I turn it off. Just a little annoying to have to go into the app periodically to turn it back off.

Balanced sound, noise cancelling can be a life saver, but the app that connects as the default my closed laptop in the backpack when I’m trying to just listen music form my phone, useless! I have to manually disconnect the laptop so my headphones can play. Pathetic software, great hardware.

Upgraded to the xm5. Very r nice headphones but for now they keep pausing for 10 seconds or so then restart. It’s not the app, deleted that and they still did it. I don’t like the listening police part of the app. I don’t want to be told I’ve used them enough this week. Not your business How often I do or don’t wear them.
