Speak to Chat
Why do you think it’s a good idea to keep turning on this feature automatically even though I disable it every time? I would be in a work call, start talking and get my audio cut off because of it. There are thousands of user reports of this very problem online, dating years back, and still no fix. Do better, Sony.
Remove system sounds if sensor panel is turned off
During rain or cold weather the sensor start to glitch so it recognises phantom gestures (play forward etc ) once in a 30sec-2min period. Which is quite annoying. So I turn the sensor panel off HOWEVER the beep notifications remain.
Connectivity issues
I have issues with switching between devices on XM5 after update from previous app version. I use windows laptop and iphone simultaneously and when no playback is active device doesn’t automatically activate device that starts playing music.

Please add much shorter audio notifications
You already support different languages for spoken notifications in XM4, please, add one without words but with different short sounds, so the users who are already well acknowledged of device features could have feedback and notifications without the need for long-worded spoken notifications which are good for discoverability of device features and states, but are absolutely terrible UX for experienced users, since they no longer provide additional information in those 5 seconds when they obscure actual content I am listening to, such as calls or music. As others already noted, we do not really need to hear “Bluetooth second device disconnected” phrase in full for the 100th time, and could use a distinctive beep, like XM3 had whenever it suddenly lost Bluetooth connection.
Amazing improvement
I was really disappointed with the app. But after Headphones Connect was rebuilt into Sound Connect I was amazed how snappy and smooth the app became. I appreciate developers work, great job!
